Freshwater Drum on a Berkley Pit Boss : )
That is a tank! This one was 17 lbs.

Anglers caught with 114 Bass!
If those were trout, and it was in NY state, they'd be in jail. That fine is a pittance.

Trolling motor?
The option would be nice, but I'm with you and prefer a cable steer.

Navigating Santee Cooper
You really have to know Moultrie well to navigate it. Marion has a marked running lane, but stray outside it, and there will be trees just below the surface. I love it there. Lots of big fish. I stayed at Black's Camp when I was there. We didn't run on plane anywhere we didn't see locals running.

BPT - Affect on local Team Tourneys?
I've met and spoken to Boyd in person, and he's hardly what I'd describe as "slippery." I think he, and the rest of the founding angler believe they have a better product. The market will bear the truth in that. I don't see how anyone could stop local tournaments from using what ever format is legal. The whole point of the industry is to sell products. How would attacking some other component benefit?

Shallow water drop shot
You can definitely fish it shallow. I do it often fishing beds, or under docks. I will also suggest a finesse plastic on an Owner Jika Rig. The design punches through moderate grass, like ell grass and EU milfoil, using less weight than a typical Texas rig. I Rage Baby Craw on a 1/4 oz. Jika is a deadly ticket.

The filters are a site wide setting, there's no way to control individual forums. Pretty sure it is already a feature request. Maybe someday we will be able to do it.

Seriously, whats the secret?
Those Keitechs aren't cheap either. You think the smaller tungsten heads help?

Fish Eyes
I have a one eyed Sammy that outfishes all other walking spook baits. I always wondered why bother with eyes on a topwater.

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
I think your decision is gonna come down to some intangible, like the seat on this boat just feels right. You're looking at a couple very nice boats.

I was gonna post this up as well.

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
Thanks for that, I wasn't sure. Lots of boats coming from China these days. Seems crazy to me that it's cheaper to roto-mold them there, and ship them here, than just do it all here. I already knew the WS boats are US made - I used to be a Wildy pro. One note on the Radar, many smaller guys have said it's a little too big, leg wise. Like it's made for taller people. I never got in one, so can't really comment. As stated above and can't be stated enough: get seat time!

That's a first for me.
That's hilarious. I'm mod-fast.

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
The Bonafide is probably a better fit for what you describe. It doesn't have the in hull storage, but I find that's really overrated. You'll like the handles better than the Native's. Standing, tracking, and maneuverability is probably about the same. The Bonafide is made here in the USA, which is becoming a rare thing.

Canoe modification
I did the same on my bass boat. CG wasn't too pleased about it. It's probably fine on inland lakes. I think the funky letters look better.

Looks good. How much weight do you think you added?
