    Whoa!
  2. Hydro flow boxes have completely eliminated any rust issues. I won’t anything else anymore.
  3. I can't think of a simpler knot than the Uni.
  4. They started Wednesday.
  5. Middle school.
  6. Even though I'm not a huge "color matters" angler, short strikes usually triggers a color change first. for me. After that, I'd look at profile.
  7. Great question. I don't think we've figured out how they find the river or creek mouth, but once there, olfactory is what leads them upstream.
  8. There should be shear pins in the mount. All my MK TMs had them, and I've had to replace them after hitting rocks with the TM.
  9. Not much about storing metal with salty baits sounds very good. I have a hook box, a jig box, and a weighted hook box. All are Plano Hydroflow deep boxes.
  10. Oh man, don't buy tail lights at BPS! The exact same LED trailer lights are Harbor Freight for 1/2 the price. Found this out when I whacked my son's trailer with the lawnmower, lol.
  11. Just about every bait I buy has the weight listed. What baits are you talking about?
  12. Would something like a T-H Marine G-Force Troll Perfect help?

    Gotta love it!
  14. I have zero issues with deep cranks. Over the past decade, I've probably caught hundreds of fish with that rod. It's also a nice stick for small treble hooked swimbaits up to an ounce. For traps, I actually prefer a fast taper. I want to be able to react quickly when the bait contacts weeds or rocks. With a lipped bait, it's the opposite. I want a slower rod for better deflection, and a split second to kill the retrieve and let the bait back out of cover.
  15. I use bright pink braid on my frog rig. No issues. Keep at it, you'll get bit. Late summer and fall are prime time for frogs.

I wouldn't really ever throw any popper that small, so no chance of success.
  17. Use a lift and separate hookset. Get them up and their head turned, and get them out the pads quick as possible.
  18. Cinder block and a scrap of wood.
  19. Spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, buzzbaits, too.
  20. This was key in the area I was fishing. There's lots of overhanging willows - prime areas for bass. Not sure what it is about willows, but they always hold fish.
