  1. Call Tracker Marine directly, and inform them of this misguided dealer.
  2. "Wind knots" in braid on spinning reels is from twist. How did you put the line on? The solution is the same for any type of line. Let out 75 yards or so, and troll for a a few hundred yards. Then reel in slowly with some tension, using your fingers.
  3. No, Permalub is way different. You're best off calling them directly.
  4. I like that setup when fishing in moderate weeds. Here's more detail, in the article. Substitute light wire weedless offset worm hook for an open hook, if needed. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html
  5. This is classic dealership antics. Just smile, and say "OK."
  6. Want ads go in the Flea Market. Title it like: "WANTED: Bass boat, Upstate NY Area, Aluminum, 17-20'" or something. Keep your eyes peeled to Craigslist, too.
  7. Shimano would tell you to use their Permalub product. I've used light oil, ATF, and dry lubricant with success. Light oil is probably the easiest to maintain. Anything heavy or greasy seems to attract dirt and debris.
  8. People occasionally post boats for sale in the Flea Market, though it's rare.
  9. Myself and I’m sure Glenn would love to see an article like that!
  10. It was 68 driving home around 5.
  11. You *could* in mine, but I agree with @Darren., it's not made for standing like mine. You're going to want a nice waterproof cushion. That seat doesn't look very comfortable for long paddles. My OK pictured above had a similar seat. My butt was sore after a couple hours in it. I just tossed one of those throwable cushions on there and sat on that. was much better.
  12. Inverted double paradiddle followed by a double stroke roll. Not meant to played with any bounce, and not on the same drum. Think R = ride and L = snare. Written in 2/4 as a pair of eighth not triplets. Then I play all the permutations of accents. This is how I come up with some of Afro-Cuban influenced rhythms. Like Gadd says, "It's all just marching drums and rudiments. Nothing fancy." Yeah, right.
  13. Closely inspect the seam of the boat you take home. If there's a flaw, or shipping damage, that's where it will show up first. Now get a milk crate and start sliming it up!
  14. You don't need a bunch of colors. Heck, my two most use MB baits have most of the paint worn off them from fish.
  15. It's actually rare that I don't nose hook a trailer. I like the bigger profile. So do the bigger fish. Another thing, I haven't used pork trailer in like 15 years. Maybe it's a difference make some days, but I guess it's just not as important to me. Yeah, I know the action is different.
  16. Does that include replacing your gear that's at the bottom of the river? I'm kidding with you. If that's what you've budgeted for, and it gets you off the water, I'm all for it.
  17. These both fused, micro-filament lines, and not braided.
  18. Triplets.
  19. I think our previous record of 62° is gonna fall today. It was already almost 60° before sunrise.
  20. Yep. We really don't need anymore, though.
  21. We're looking to set a record at 70°!!!!!!
  22. Sure they do. Mine has 150K miles on it, 8 years old, barely broken in. My son's is 13 years old, 180K miles, and still runs and looks good.
