Four year old thread.... still getting a headache. Line, in the grand scheme of things that can fail, is pretty inexpensive. If you get a couple spools out a a reel fill, so be it. No need to get involved with heavy, and suspect math to do it. You run out? Get another spool.

Looks like Quantum is out of the part as well. You might try calling them to see when they'll get it back in. Otherwise, you might have to trim a washer from the current size list. I've done it before, it's not too hard.

Side console or tiller? If tiller, you're capped at 90 hp, unless you jump to a 20' Pro Guide. Why not an electric tiller, like a Minn Kota Vantage instead of a gas kicker?
