  1. I don't have any issue with 10 in my 30 gal. livewell. Those ten can be anywhere between 30-35 lbs. on average.
  2. I have both mirrored and non. Makes difference to me. I like the looks that mirrored offers. You can take the tiny bit of science that's twisted into marketing hype as "better" for what it's worth.
  3. 1:15 to make a 6 mile drive into work today. Do I say "Lake Effect" too much?
  4. Look at what Torqueedo is doing @Further North Might be a repower in your future.
  5. Uh, there’s a ton of tournaments during this timeframe. I mean a ton. The launch is so big, they do a valet launch because it’s like a stadium sized parking lot. It’s a two fish limit. And they have to be over 18 or something like that. Can’t remember the exact details.
  6. I don't disagree, but with the amount of traffic you're describing, the power boater should reduce speed drastically.
  7. Use https://postimages.org/ for uploading images.
  8. There is a special, early trophy season on Erie in Buffalo, NY that allows two fish to be kept for weigh in. It coincides with pre-spawn and spawn. Hasn't devastated the fishery there.
  9. You only need a white 360° light for night time with a kayak.
  10. First thing listed in standard features of all Xclusive, Xclusive Pro, and Xculsive Pro Team: Hyperlift Hull.
  11. Spring and fall, they migrate to creeks and streams. I deal ones have some deep holes. Springtime is spawning season and post spawn feeding up. Fall is when they follow the trout into the creeks. I basically throw typical bass sized moving baits - spinners, topwater WTD baits, spoons, big cranks, medium swimbaits. Once summer sets in, you're looking for deep ledges with weeds. Throw expensive diving jerkbaits or deep cranks. The pike will bite.
  12. IF you're struggling with an Alberto or Uni to Uni, or FG knot, try a triple surgeon's. It's easy to tie, and even though it's not as strong as those listed before, if you tie it well, it's better than a another knot, that is poor and will fail.
  13. Let me elaborate, since the concept escapes you. When you put a mirror deposition on the lens, they will reduce the amount of tint. Color of mirror doesn't matter, color of tint can have an effect. I have a pair of non mirror grey off shore glass shades, and they're darker than any mirrored Costa or Oakley I've owned. So, when you look at mirrored or non mirrored in the same line up, it makes NO DIFFERENCE. Pick what you think you look pretty in. Also, who here fishes in space? With no atmospheric filtering of sunlight, I'd think they'd be designing screens with just about every thing they can use and still be able to see.
  14. I miss it soooo much. That boat had such a cool layout, and fish catching mojo.
  15. Hawgtech has a few options in carbon fiber handles: length, style, and knob type. You can also custom the accent colors on their handles, star drags, spool caps, etc. https://www.hawgtech.com/product/Hawg-Handle%3A-Shimano
  16. Seems like maybe a safe way to communicate would be to wave...from shore.
  17. "Kind of a big deal"
  18. He's talking about Tracker boats. Xpress uses a heavy gauge Al hull material. In fact, other than Gator Trax, I'm not sure there's any other super high performance Al hulls. Lund and Crestliner are both super heavy duty hulls as well. Both from the same factory. Lund if you want riveted or glass, Crestliner if you want welded. Alumacraft is another really nice boat as well, since we're talking heavier builds.
  19. It was pretty funny.
  20. I've seen those, and they're nothing like the All Stars I had from the late 90s. Mine were a brown or navy blue blank, and all were fast action.
  21. I'm waiting to hear that the color of the mirror matters.
  22. I have a fairly open boat (Commander 140), so I use the YakAttack plate and the existing slide tracks.
