You have to try centrepinning. It's a blast, though it wouldn't work in the spot from your video.

St. Croix AVS63MLXF works for 1/2 oz. weights. Step up to the AVS63MXF for 3/4 oz. I use nothing lighter than 1/2 oz. working deep and vertical. Works for me!

The 115 would suite you well. I have a 14' and it's not always great in small creeks. It's a trade off, though. I greatly appreciate the speed and tracking when making 2-3 mile run on larger lakes.

That's a Charlie's Plate. Charlie is my grandfather. I think plates are gross, too. LOL. I'd rather a cheeseburger off the char broiler, on a hard roll, fries well done.

I prefer graphite as well. I like the gains in detecting what I'm running my bait through. I don't feel is as well with glass.
