  1. It's a motor vehicle - no more difficult that keeping your car or truck registered. In fact, you can do the boat and trailer in one trip. I guess I'm not really sure what the problem is.
  2. Go with a size 4 for finesse, lol.
  3. I put the console unit on demo mode, lol.
  4. I saw this on the Wildy feed. That's crazy!
  5. Drop shot, light flouro, big sinker.
  6. CXX does sink, though very slowly. I use it for topwater just fine, but I prefer Tuf-Line Supercast. Floats, no stretch, handles easier.
  7. I use a m/xf rod with a short butt grip, around 6-6'6" for jerk baits.
  8. Me too, we have proof readers, lol. Seriously though, I encourage any kind of input. Not all the articles (search for "John Franchot") I've written are reviews. Some I point to quite often, as they relate to the questions in a thread on the forums, rather than repeating myself over and over. The drop shot article I wrote is one such article.
  9. The original is my favorite. The best made movie is Empire, but the fact the Jedi exists, drags it below the original.
  10. The likelihood of sharing a spot is directly related to the size of the spot. There's good fishing on Erie.

  12. Extra bearings add weight and cost, both targets not always dictated by design or function. Think price point…
  13. Umbrella rigs, river, bridge pilings. Drop shot, blades, wrecks, if you can find them.
  14. Maybe this will help. https://youtu.be/AVZT2im0dhA

No, that comment gets removed. It serves no purpose.

  17. The pump out "outlet" would be above the water line, to prevent siphoning. If what you see near the plug has a screen, it is undoubtably an intake for the pump or gravity feed, both for filling the live well. Screens are almost always removable for cleaning. Sounds to me you need someone experienced to help you onsite. Anyone close by to give the man a helping hand?
  18. Professional bass fishing is ruining the lakes. It should be banned. Imagine that for a 1st post! Same difference. Let's keep it toned down, and see where this goes.
  19. I think the whole ripping hooks out bit is nonsense. What isn't nonsense is how the bait reacts and how you react when it comes in contact or deflects. Moderate action, irrespective of material, works better.
  20. Yep, plug the live well ports, and I bet you have your answer.
