  1. just call the companies direct and ask. I've gotten some banners for promotional stuff that way before. Just find the number on-line, explain to them what you need, and wait to see if they send them out.
  2. QFT hey, fivebass whatever happened with your gear swap? I'd like to hear about it if you have the time to PM me.

The blonde didn't come with the tent. While she's been equally useful, she is much, much, much more expensive.
  5. whatever happened with this?

So I went to cabelas to pick up some things with some birthday gift certificates. I decided that while I was there I'd stroll through the bargain cave. Low and behold as I walked into the area.......I see the Columbia Cougar Flats tent. I'd been looking for this thing at a resonable price for ever! It turns out that some dude returned this one because he put it up in the wrong order and spilt one of the fiberglass pole sections. It took 5 minutes to fix the pole with some masking tape. In the end, I get a $240 tent for $130! It's 86'' high and 15' x 10' (150 square feet). Sleeps 8.
  13. I like to keep mine in the original package. I also store them in my tackle bag in a cabelas soft plastic binder. It's basically the same size as a 3700 box (until you really cram it full of bags). I have two. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0036308120691a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=binder&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=binder&noImage=0
  14. If Indian lake Ohio is anything like KCMO, just leave it running while you run into the store. Abracadabra! No more Lancer.
  15. A pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel in his lap. The bartender looks at the pirate and says "hey man, what's that for?" The pirate says "aarrrrrrrr! It's drivin' me nuts!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16. What about if I said I was looking for the five most common types? Would that give you somewhere to start?
  17. I think the crankin' stick is on sale right now.
  18. does anyone use glass?
  19. QTF If you think you might need it, use it. I've put bars on 3 trucks. I can help also if you have questions.
  20. Reading everyone else's responses made me feel lucky. I live within 30 minutes from two BPS and a cabelas. Less than 10 from two dick's stores. One a former galyan's. Ironically, my bank is 45 minutes away.

Muddy, I didn't know you played soccer?
  22. Sound great, but can you elaborate on what punting and the lateral technique are? Thanks! Punting = kicking the football to the other team so as to relequish possession of said ball to the opposing teams offense. Doing so will hopefully gain a favorable field position for the kicking teams defense. If the latter is not achieved, it can be said that the punter "muffed" the kick. usually used in a forth down situation when the punting teams kicker is out of field goal range, or a conversion of fourth to first down seems unlikely. Ideally, the punter tries to punt the ball out of bounds as close as possible to the other teams end-zone thus eliminating the possibility of a return for additional yardage. This is called a "coffin corner" punt. Lateral = a directly sideways (lateral) pitch of the football. Usually performed by the teams quarterback to a member of the backfield with a thumb-down flipping of the ball. Neither a forward pass nor a handoff. Should the ball be dropped by the intended receiver of the lateral, it remains a live ball unlike a dropped pass. Used primarily in an option heavy type offense. Can sometimes be employed in a usually unintended four-seconds-left-one-guy-pitches-to-the-other-guy-who-pitches-to-the-other-guy-who-runs-35-yards-then-pitches-to-another-guy-who-runs-for-six type circus play then later seen on ESPN classic. A big part of college and high school football, not so much for the NFL. Google Eric Crouch+nebraska or vincent young+texas for further.
  23. There go those crazy limnologists with their off-color humor again....... Thanks Roger for all that info, that's exactly what I was looking for. Know much about cover types?
  24. Isn't it like that year round for you? J/K I'll go out. I doubt I'll catch anything. I'll say I did though.
  25. I'm having a hard time picturing a difference between your tear-drop shape, and a regular casting or bell sinker. Got any pics?
