  1. I thought Good Night Irene was RW...
  2. What is this CRACKING technique of which you speak? 30-50# Power Pro should get the job done. Depends on where you intend to crack...LOL
  3. Try the same test by only cutting off the lead hook (the one pointed down on the belly)
  4. I had a good friend that died 22 years ago that loved everything Mopar. I think he just sat up in his grave.
  5. When you apply for a USCG Captain's License, if you want it for the Great Lakes, I believe half your sea time has to be on the Great Lakes.
  6. The only parabolic rod I have is a Castaway HG40 Flippin stick. Heavy power, slow action. I don't believe that parabolic is what you need for a jack of all trades rod. A parabolic rod bends all the way down the blank. 6'6" - 7' M-MH Fast or Moderate Fast, should cover you.

Striper fishing in the Chesapeake Bay was on fire on Black Friday. And the next day, and the next. I'll be back out Saturday.

Snakehead (the fish) are fantastic eating. Dense, white and sweet. Flounderish...
  9. One of my all time favorites. I watch it every night on ME TV. I have seen every episode. Watched it straight though on Netflix one year. While Floyd has a son, no mention of being married. Both mayors were married. I do see you point however.
  10. Prayer to Saint Peregrine O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying) Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
  11. My fishing partner has a Mako 2201. Many a day we've bass fished on creeks, on rivers, and on the Chesapeake Bay. Looks like this

    Let's remember him like this...
  13. Bought and sold several over the years. The Curado 200BSF was my favorite.
  14. I've got an IM10X Magnum Worm II, decent rod. I think they were in the $100 range new.
  15. It would be a waste of thousands of $$ worth of equipment.

Oh the irony of the elephant logo...
  17. That just doesn't sound right...
  18. The Exorcist. I own the digitally remastered DVD and saw it in the theater when it was re-released a few years ago. Based on a true story that happened right here in MD. A couple of years ago, my oldest daughter (20 at the time) and her boyfriend were bragging about all the scary movies they rent and go to see. I told them about The Exorcist. "Daddy, that movie was made in 1973, how could it possibly compare to modern horror films?" Very early into it, she was watching with her fingers overs her eyes. When Regan's head spins around she says, "that's it, I'm done." She refused to finish the movie.
  19. I have a friend, his wife once claimed that he "tricked" her regarding how much he would fish throughout their marriage. He replied that she had "tricked" him too. She didn't say how fat she was going to get throughout their marriage. He tells it like it is. True Story... They've been married close to sixty years or more.
  20. There is a Calcutta D in the flea market.
  21. Bill, they taste fantastic. (the northern's at least) Don't waste them on the cats. Eat them yourself!
  22. The simple answer is that you went fishing and just didn't catch anything...don't over think it.
  23. My partner and I guide for them on the Potomac River in MD. Ours are Northern Snakehead. Awesome game fish. Hard to target. Don't believe the media hype...
  24. From this weekend...why we love bowfin.
