Actually In that PM I said I was getting a new Curado, and I'd need a NEW rod for it. I've been using American Rodsmiths for the past decade! The H3 that I own now I've had for 6 months. Out of all the rods I've owned or fished with (like I said before I've fished with most brands, granted I haven't held a $500 Loomis but..........) The H3 Titanium Ultra is my favorite! The H3 Titanium I have right now, is my favorite out of ALL the rods I've ever owned. Like I said It's just my opinion. I'm not saying my opinion is "Gospel Truth" Ya'll are knocking me for reccomending my favorite rod, like it's the best, which I think it's the best! If you like a rod are you going to say......."Ya, it's an ok rod, you'll like it." Or are you gonna say............"It's the best rod I've used, I'd highly reccomed it!" If ya like something a LOT you're gonna say so! If soemone asks you..............."do you like to fish?" What are you gonna say? You ain't gonna say..................."ya I fish every now and then." I think you'd say....."fishing is my passion!" or something like that. Ya see where I'm going.................???? Tight Lines 8-)

I knew I liked you! I'd like to KU win for the Big XII but I think Carolina will win it. In my brackets I have Memphis all the way. The only team I don't like is UCLA, Although I like Kevin Love. So I'm kinda torn between who to root for... ;D ;D Like RW said, Free throws will be HUGE!!! As for Memphis not phaving too much competion........Texas is a BIG NAME BIG GAME school, and sad to say, Mephis beat us. I think Memphis has what it takes to run with the big dawgs. Although they ARE beatable. Right now I'd say it's pretty much anyones game to win. Tight Lines 8-)

Actually I'm trying to figure out which type of fund/stcok or whatever I need to invest in. I'd liek to start putting $200-$500 a month in some sort of investment fund or something. Any ideas?? Dude! You might nothave given them all a try. Maybe not me but the guides I've talked to have : remember...............It's all JMHO. (Just My Humble/Honest Opinion) Muddy swears by Fenwick...............He also recomends them. Others swear by G-Loomis...............They reccomend them. Others (make that a LOT of others) swear by Carrot Stix......They reccomend them. I swear by American Rodsmiths.............I reccomend them. simple as that. Tight Lines 8-)

For a Reel between $100 and $150 I'd go with a Shimano Citica. The BEST reel for the price!!! Or with the rebate you can get a Curado for around $150. Castaway rods www.castawayrods.com are my 2nd company of choice. They make VERY good rods. Like Pencil said, most are hand made right here in Montgomery, TX. My first choice is American Rodsmiths www.americanrodsmiths.com IMO..........The ALL Stars would be the "economical" version of Castaways. (yes I own both.) Tight Lines 8-)

To all doubters of the American Rodsmiths H3 Titanium Ultra... I have talked to several guides (all not endorsed, sponsored, or in any way affiliated with American Rodsmiths.) Most have said they SWEAR by it. Two of them used to be die-hard G-Loomis men and a third was exclusivly St. Croix. Most of them said the American Rodsmiths H3 Titanium Ultra was the best rod they've ever seen. I've fished a baitcasting model, and it's a DREAM!! I own one of the H3 Titaniums, and it's the best I've ever handled. ( I've fished with everything form G-Loomis, St. Croix, Custom, Shimano,you name it!) American Rodsmiths H3 Titanium Ultra= BEST ROD ON THE MARKET!! JMHO. Tight Lines 8-)

I've decided,NO MORE TACKLE for at least 6 months, maybe more. Instead I'll be working to make payments to a new Z-Turn mower (52 inch deck), a horse, and fixing up my truck. I have $1700 in the bank. Mower costs about $4,000. Horse somewhere around $1,000 and My truck could use $800. YIKES!!! Yes, this means no new Curado I'll still be fishing, just not buying any more tackle. Well..............maybe $10 of lures here and there : : : Tight Lines 8-)

I like a 1/32 oz. Chart. or un-painted jig head. For the jig, I like a Black/Chart. or Red/White tube jig. For rods, I'd go with a 12' fly rod. And just work the brush piles with your jig. Good Luck!! Too bad about all your stuff!! > > > Tight Lines 8-)

Nice Glock!!! I would carry one but I'm too young. The day I turn 21 I'm getting one!!! If every citizen carried a gun or had one in their house, crime would go WAAAAY down!! In a small town in Georgia they passed a law requireing every adult male to have a gun in his house. And in like three years they only had 2 murders, both were with a knife. And their crime rate was next to ZERO!! Gun Control means using both hands!!! Tight Lines 8-)
