Ok, I've read a LOT about jigging latley. I'd like to expand into this technique. My question(s) is... What jigs do you have good succes with? (Brand, Model, Color, Weight) What are you proven Techniques? (Seasons, Structure, Depth, etc.) What kind of setup do you use? (rod/reel, lure/line weight and gear ratios) What Line do you use? (Mono, Flouro, Braid Which Brand and lb. test) And any additional tips or info that you have. Thank's ya'll Tight Lines 8-)

I have the HMX, It's a GREAT rod. I've never used the HMG, but I'm sure it's a pretty good rod. I know Muddy just bought a HMG. You might ask him what he thinks about it. BTW........... I voted for frogs. I have had a TON of succes with frogs. But if you're looking to expand your arsenal, I'd go with some jigs. I need to work on my jigging too. Good Luck!! 8-)

I have no problem with Rat L Traps in weeds. I'll just switch out the trebles with a EWG worm hook. 8-)

I LOVE my Zoom Baby Brush Hog T rigged. (White, RedShad, Pumkinseed) Also Rat L Traps (anything with chrome, 1/4 oz. - 1/2 oz.) In the summer I like Yum and Zoom Frogs. (Chart., White.) Rapla Skiter Walks and Heddon Super Spook and Super Spook Jr. work good for me too. (Bone, Clown, and Chart./Black.) 8-)

Gatorade/Tea and Granola bars when I'm in my Kayak. Gatorade, DP and Turkey or Ham sandwiches when I'm on the boat. 8-)

Zoom baby brush hogs are one of my ABSOULUTE favorites!!! I can't count the number of bass I've caught on them. Fav. colors are: Red Shad, Pumkinseed, White, and Baby Bass. 8-)

Ratlin Rapla and good 'ol Rat L Trap!! My fav colors are anything with chrome, and baby bass. 8-)

I'll use shallow running crankbaits or a small spinnerbait. Also Double Curly Tailed grubs work good. My fav colors for the grubs are: Chart. and White. Creature baits like zoom baby brush hog and the Berkley version of that work well too. Pre-Spawn is not my strongest time. 8-)

AWESOME!!! At a lake I fish we found an eagle's nest. It's pretty awesome!!! Also on that same lake there's a beaver dam. It's pretty neat to see that kinda stuff!! 8-)
