  1. Jugs are the easiest to master.
  2. I have caught 4 channel cats from 10-17 lbs on jerk baits. Always catches me by surprise.

  10. I like to use owner ST36 or if you want a heavier hook I will use ST-41. I use the same size usually but sometimes go up one size on the rear hook keeping the front hook standard size.

  16. I 'll bet that pike got your attention or were you using a leader? Great bait.
  17. Great story. Those pike can get your attention. Carry a few light weight leaders or some tie-able leader material with you next time and you will be ready for them.
  18. Down in Florida this past year November & December also produced a high number of 10lb plus bass based on the records of the FWC trophy catch program.
  19. The weak spot is the line you are using with the knot you are tying. Either change line or change your knot. Keep doing what you are doing & it will continue to happen. If you want to stay with 15lb test line try a quality copolymer line. Otherwise increase the line test in the P-line or change to a better brand.
