FINALLY I caught something
I fish the Snake River and Lake Walcott, which is a small Reservoir on the Snake River. That is where I do most of my fishing. It is in Southern Idaho.

The loss of a pet/best friend
Know what you are talking about. My hunting dog who I had longer than my kids, 12 years, died in January. It is pretty hard to lose a pet that is also a friend or hunting companion.

Favorite Crankbait
I have a couple. Storm thundercraw in the phantom chart. and the Rebel Wee-R pearl/red eye, can't find them now so use Bandit 100 series and it does equally as well. i have caught most of my fish on hard plastics with these two (or 3).

Soft plastics
I have mostly Zoom, but I have stuff from other companies. If I see something I think might work I will get it. But again, most of my stuff is from Zoom.

Soft Plastic Storage Question
I use the boxes too. I like the organization. Each box is labeled with what is in it so when I open the storage hatch I can see what I want. I have two storage compartments with nothing but soft plastics, so I like the boxes. I have soft sided bags that I can throw some of the boxes in if I go in a friend's boat.

Do you carry concealed?
Hey Micro, i have a Walther p22. It is a fun gun to shoot. My 7 year old can hit with it pretty well, and my 2 year old loves to shoot it, with help of course. I carry concealed too, either a .357, or a .45, depends on the clothes I am wearing.

Finally got to fish today
First time out to fish this year. Got to fish for a couple of hours. Water temp was 37 degrees, and air temp in 40's. There was some ice on the edges of the river yesterday morning from the 20 degree night. Got skunked, although I did get a hit, but missed the fish. Could've been a trashy trout. Using a 4in plastic on a jighead. Sure felt good out casting the rods, and a cold but good boat ride on the river. Maybe next time. Good fishing to all.

Pooling water on single console bass boat cover
I have conduit that slides into the back and front seat posts with a bend in it to extend from front to back. works great. even keeps the snow from adding up on top of the cover. Acts like a pitched roof.

What Bass Fishing PC game are you playing?
I had the rapala one, quit playing it because I spent hours trying to pass the walleye tournament. I could not catch a walleye, only bass, and you have to catch I think 6 of those eyes. I want a better game that is all bass for my Wii.

Anyone from Idaho?
You guys from Boise fish CJ Strike? I love fishing there, but when I go I fish for Crappie and bluegill, and have not really fished for bass there. I fish the Snake and Lake Walcott for Bass here in Cassia and Minidoka counties. My avatar pic is one from Walcott.

I love squirrels!
growing up in Arkansas I loved hunting squirrels. I really do miss them here in Idaho. Eat some for me too.

Courtesy of Fishing Spots
I go fishing to have fun, and I really hate it when people get too close to me. Last summer I was anchored in a spot catching crappie and these two guys came up in a pontoon boat and threw out their anchor within casting distance to me and began casting in the same spot we were casting and catching the fish. I kicked on the TM and dragged my anchors and got in between the ponton boat and our hole. My dad could not understand why the boat was moving as bad as it was, but the pontoon boat left quickly. I am usually an easy going guy, but not when people do stuff like this to me when I am fishing. This is a reason I do not do tournaments here. The tourney guys here think they own the water and will cut you off while fishing down banks, come into your hole while you are fishing, and even told a friend of mine to leave the spot my friend was in because he was in a tourney and that he needed to fish the spot instead. My friend was in the spot first, and had been fishing it for awhile. He got real ignorant with my friend about it. My friend started putting the fish he was catching in his livewell until the guy finally left, then released the fish.
