It depends on the tourny. If I am fishing water I am very familiar with I will target the larger fish right away. If I'm on water I don't know or conditions indicate maybe only a short window I will target smaller fish for numbers then switch to a jig or big worm. Remember 3 fish at 1.75# beats one at 5#.

These are both good methods. I would definately pre-fish the day before a tournament if it were allowed. Even if you hooked a few fish you could still apply what you learned to other parts of the lake.

Isn't part of the problem increased use of products by countries such as India and China. I know that has to do with the rise of energy prices. Also the rise in building product such as cement is directly effected by the Chineese. Muddy you studying business?

One thing you could do is go get you one of those portable depth finders. Keep a few bass of course. Just be careful though cause maybe you are only catching the small ones cause that is what is in the areas you are fishing.

I don't use live bait. Of course the two are different. Wether the next world record comes on live bait or artificials makes no difference. Just as long as it is hooked in the mouth weighed on a certified scale and all the proper certifications are done. I truly hope that it is some 12 year old kid fishing with a night crawler on some private pond that catches it. Then all of the haters can post on threads like this for many years to come.

I got one of these awhile back and called paypal also. The best thing to do if you have any doubts delete the emails and contact the companies. Thanks for the heads-up that these emails are happening again.
