  5. If your going as a coangler bring about 3-4 rods, a small tacklebag, a PFD is required so take that, a lunch box, a rainsuit (even if it looks like a nice day), a coat for the morning, a pair of sunglasses, a hat, and of course gas money and lunker fee moeny if you want to enter the lunker pool. In tournament series like this its required that the coangler take money to give the boater, in BASS right now tis 20$ idk about the BFL though. Just make sure to check out the website and note everything else that might be required to bring.
  6. I could see that being a great technique there. Have you tried crankbaits or jerkbaits there? A tube jig would probably work well too

  10. in all junior tournaments there has to be an adult aboard to fish, so he probably does have his dad with him at all times. I'm not real sure but I think a younger person can get a sponsership as long as his/her legal guardian is there. He's still young yet too, as am I but I don't any problem with him having a resume. There are kid sponsers out there to help with juniors, they usually do wait until the kid has moved up through the state however and with the kids people sponser teams usually. this was meant as no offense to you the tr20one, I just don't want to see his dreams squashed.
  11. I fish them just like a spinnerbait, my fav is the 3/8 ounce black and blue. i bring them downt he logs at some lakes around here and fish smash them! I've noticed that they catch big fish too, like bigger than average not like 20 lbers lol

  16. very very true
  17. it does look like thats the bait, the face and body look the same
  18. I think if you rationally explain the the people that own the land to the shoreline they should really have no opposition to you fishing there. I would say ask the first or second person if they knew who owned the lake itself, and if theres someone who actually owns the lake ask them. I have a dispute over a lake I fish thats only a couple minutes from my house, the landowners on the lake don't want me to fish there but since I'm friends with the owner of the lake it doesn't matter. They have called the cops on me and once the cops got there they couldnt do anything to me because the lake owner said I could. As long as you don't harm the environment or litter it really doesn't matter to most people, i stay away from the land where the owners called the cops on me though i don't want that to happen again.
