  1. I'd say about three to four pounds depending on the forage base. If its shad then closer to 4 if its bluegill close to three. Sounds like it could be a great little pond in a few years though!
  2. some smaller lakes have 15 inch limits and a smaller bag limit, I think its pymatuning that KBBC always goes to this time of year
  3. I've seen some huge muskie pictures from that lake. and it is kinda big, we went there for a boyscout camping trip a few years back and it was like 5-6 miles around? Idk it could have been more than that and we just walked 5-6 miles all i was worried about back then was the obstacle course lol
  4. I might try that tomorrow....
  5. I started off all by myself too and I think it worked out the best for me. I would see techniques in BASSMASTER and then go try them out at the local ponds. Granted I didn't get outside instruction til I was 15 and joined my local BASS Federation club. By then I knew what the guys were talking about and generally how to use it, it just seemed to work out. But I started out with a $20 baitcasting outfit from gander mountain, so pretty much anything you can buy is better than that lol. Too bad that rod and reel combo is broken, I'd like to have it now
  6. lol i didnt mean that in a bad way I just kinda noticed it. There are alot more kids and teenagers than I thought. And they all probably know their way around a computer better than I do lol
  7. Run out to walmart now or in the a.m. for a morning wake up gift. They have nice flowers cheap. Then come up with something else at work lol
  8. speaking of age, there are alot of younger kids on the forum huh?
  9. They teach you how to share in Kindergarten
  10. LMAO!!! ;D
  11. worked for me 519, anythings better than the colleges cafeteria
  12. Personally I would go with a 1/2 ounce cotton cordell super spot. They produce very well for me in that weather range. And to answer your question a crankbait you can fish like a spinnerbait but with a jerkbait your gonna want to crank it down a few feet then do a jerk, jerk, pause with it, make sure to reel in the slack afte every jerk. Not a jerk like your setting the hook but more like a small downward twitch or your rod tip. Pause for 5-30 secs longer if the water is really cold and if you have a bite reel in the slack before you set the hook. And good luck! ;D
  13. I agree with bassinboy. I'm just way too picky, thats why i never buy the boxes
  14. idk about the treble either? but they will work on a jighead, just do the same thing you would with a grub. What are they called? I might have to go out and get some more if berkley makes em now
  15. Yeah lucky crafts are esp. bad for that. I have those hook marks on every one of my lucky crafts except the ones that are still in the boxes. Their paint tends to get chipped really easily too, you think for the money you spend on them they could use chip resistant paint? Just my opinion
  16. Congradulations! I'm happy to hear that! ;D
  17. I know I will procrafts make nice boats, I'm so happy with mine now.
  18. Thats a good point flechero

Theres nothing to add or take out really great job man, all you need are a couple tourny wins , which it looks like will be coming shortly! your football situation sounds like me lol, i always played fun games with our team and they told me to join but i didn't have the time because of fishing. Glad to see you and me have your prioritys straight ;D
  20. wow thats a huge palamino, what did he catch it on? I know a fisherman down here that only fishes for huge trout, he uses bass swimbaits
  21. the quemahoming or however you spell it is a great lake!! Its full of huge fish too. Whats the hp rating on that lake, isnt it electric only? I think i'm gonna try to hit up the rivers this weekend
  22. If that happens I'm gonna go back to being a rider lol
  23. lol I think i'm gonna try to find me some deeper weedlines to fish. That way the tide won't be a problem
