  2. DUDE! Fleury made a couple killer saves righ there at the end! Wow!
  3. That process has already started. Probably looked like I was moving this afternoon as I got all of my stuff out of the fishing room to sort and fill up the boat. Thats half the fun. Crawling around in your new boat, playing with all your tackle.
  4. I bet you do
  5. The last 5 minutes have looked like the Wings have been on a power play. 3+ to go....something big is going to happen.
  6. I've got a Motorguide Tour 109. I assume its a digital motor since it doesnt have the circuit board in the head. Anyway, the trolling motor was fine, no signs of anything wrong, buzzing right along and it just died. Dead. I've checked my resets, all battery connections are clean, I've got 39 volts at the plug, the foot switch is still good (I really thought that would be the culprit), took off the prop, removed some fishing line, still nothing. (Did all that on the water) After making it home I went back and hit the button. Prop started spinning. Spun for about 5 seconds then just died down to a stop while I still had the switch pressed down. After the prop stopped spinning I let off the switch and the prop turned about 3 revolutions, like a short power surge, then stopped again. I can press the switch and get 4 or 5 seconds of prop spin, then it dies. Once it dies I can press the switch again and it does the same thing. I did this for about 10 minutes and it did the same thing every time. It does the same thing when I put it on constant. I figured I had a short so I took off the head cover and remade all the wires together with different connectors. A few looked like they needed to be redone and I thought that may fix things but it didn't. It's still doing 'the 5 second spin and die'. Redoing all the wires changed nothing. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Maybe the name of a part that could cause those symptoms? With everything being checked from the batteries all the way through the pedal to inside the head, I guess it has to be in the lower unit. I've never seen inside a trolling motor lower unit and I'm really not sure I should even attempt to take it apart with it being a sealed unit. Anybody care to school me on taking it apart, putting it back together and sealing it up correctly? HELP!!!
  7. Pittsburgh is up 2-0 on the Red Wings at the end of the 2nd. Where's all the Wings fans? Better get your rally caps on for the 3rd period! Talbot SMOKED Osgood on both goals, especially the 2nd one.....that was a laser!
  8. Nice boat Burleyman! You'll be able to get on the dinks a little faster in that boat. When are you going to unload your 175# tackle bag into the compartments and spill some JJ's on the carpet to make it all official?

  11. Whenever I have dealt with suspended fish I've noticed that the strike zone shrinks down to a very small window. I will always try to fish in front of them or just above. They usually wont travel too far to eat, when and if they eat at all.

  15. They have the 2500 and 3000 sizes. It's not the Tackle Warehouse sale....they dont have the 2500's. Send me a pm for details. Awesome price on a great spinning reel. Probably wont last long.
  16. If this is a daytime tournament, I'd fish the stained water first without a doubt. You'll be able to fish it fast with a spinnerbait or crankbait and probably do it shallower than if you're in the clear water. Of course, if the stain doesnt work out, then I'd go to cleaner water. But I'd probably lay money on the stained water bite.

  20. The commodities is like the stock exchange. They are based on speculation. Speculation which often has nothing to do with the profitability of the company whose stock is being traded. The problem with the commodities exchange is that the goods are basically sold at auction, which impacts market prices, while the value of a companies stock does not impact the market price of its goods. Blah, blah, blah + blah, blah, blah = a bunch of BS These speculators need to speculate a little more efficiently.
  21. Yeah, but I'm sure he's bummed about losing his net man. ;D
  22. Dang, 3 1/2 hours? Who's gonna carry Jimzee in the club tournaments once you leave? ;D
  23. Will this be a permanent move? How far will you be from WV? Almost forgot. If you have any fishing tackle or rods and reels that need a babysitter while you're not fishing, send 'em on down.
  24. Must've been nice for Brown not having to worry about that right hand for 4 1/2 rounds. LOL! I think Faber could've done something if he had both hands, especially on that submission late in the 5th. He had him where he wanted him but couldnt crank down on it. I noticed Faber didnt try any of that fancy stuff that got him knocked out in the first fight. Good decision there. I agree about the Aldo/Brown fight. That Aldo kid is for real. He took out Swanson (one of WEC's better fighters) in 8 seconds and cut him up pretty bad with that knee to the skull. I cant believe Pulver got handled like he did. A few fights ago he went 5 rounds with Faber, now he gets mauled by a newcomer. Come on Jens! Man up! You cant go out like that!
