  1. You can count on that. I bought a BCR893 a few years ago and it has exceeded all of my expectations. I cannot imagine a better rod.
  2. I did not get to fish as much as I like last year. There will be no excuses this year. I want to work on a few things... -night fishing -spinnerbaits -fly rod using poppers
  3. I am super pumped about the games this weekend. GO FALCONS!!!
  4. You are hardcore. I was griping this morning about working out in the cold garage. I need to man up!
  5. Very nice! ;D
  6. That was one remarkable human being. He embodied all the qualities of "the greatest generation."
  7. I saw it for the second time with my dad the other day. I love it and I was very pleased to hear that he thought it was great as well.
  8. I have heard the fishing reports coming out of the Delta right now are less than desirable. It is very high and muddy. Fishing has been made even less productive by all the wind. This area is not easily accessed without a boat. You can fish from the causey or Blakeley State Park. Unfortunately, you may not catch anything but catfish and croaker. The weather is supposed to be better this weekend. It should be drier, less windy, and warmer. You may be better of by hitting a pier with shrimp for reds and trout, which are biting pretty good right now. I hope you enjoy your stay. Congratulations to your son.
  9. I would love a slab of that! I think I will pass with a price > $500/lb
  10. Thank you all for your kind words. It has been an awesome journey to say the least. The only advice I can give to anyone that is looking to lose weight is that there are no secrets and no shortcuts. It just takes time, sweat, pain and hunger....and lots of it!
  11. WOW! That is a beast.
  12. I am 31 years old and I have struggled with my weight most of my life. Eating became a compulsive action, and coupled with an inactive lifestyle, led to me weighing in at over 350 pounds. At the start of this year, I decided to commit to a lifestyle change that resulted in a transformation that I did not imagine was possible. BEFORE I joined a gym in January and got to work. I started slow by lifting and walking 5 days a week. I gradually increased the intensity over the next few months and was losing between 8-10lbs a month. Starting in June, I doubled the amount of cardio, went to gym 7x a week, and really locked down the diet. I lost 20 lbs a month during June through October. As of today, I am half of my starting weight with a total loss of 175 lbs and I feel AWESOME!!!!!!! I encourage any of you that need to shed the pounds that it can be done. You are capable. If my fat @55 can lose it, you can too. AFTER Merry Christmas to all of you. I hope you have a wonderful time with your families and catch lots of fish.
  13. That is a dandy!
  14. I have a few friends with Vizios and they are very pleased with the picture.
  15. Adidas trail response I work out 3 hours a day and they are great shoes.
  16. My great grandmother died of mouth and throat cancer. They removed most of her jaw and adjacent tissues. It later became infected. She still tried to chew and it would run down her face and neck. Because of the surgery she could not eat solid stuff and kept withering away. It was gross and upsetting. I hope this helps the next time you think of sneaking a pinch. Good luck! You can do it. Just think of the extra money for tackle.
  17. Oh yes, another Saints' defeat and Falcons' victory make for a great weekend. Now if the Bucs will lose a few in a row we will be doing great!
  18. I guess I'll have to come up with another excuse. ;D

  21. If you can find a good deal on a 1st gen, don't pass it up. It is a great rod and I love it. I think they look better than the newer rods.
