  1. Thanks again for all the advice guys. I am being a lot more mindful of what I am eating, how much I eat, and when I eat. I think cutting out the late night snacking has been the most difficult. It is gonna take a lot of time to get used to eating smaller meals more frequently as I am almost never hungry at breakfast and most hungry later in the day. No smoking has been extremly tough, but I have managed to make it 4 days now. I know this is going to be a continous struggle, but the reward will far outweigh the challenge. Again, thanks again for all the advice and support!
  2. Good luck, Microman. I am working on #2 and 4 as well. I wish you the best of luck.
  3. Thanks for the laugh, Kent! It sure is tough not to have a delicious smoke with my morning coffee or after a meal, but I am still staying strong.
  4. Those are beauties, George!!
  5. Thank you, guys. Hitting the gym was not as bad as I expected and the eye candy helped make the visit much more tolerable. Did a couple light sets on each muscle group and walked 15 minutes and rode a bike for 15 minutes. I did not want to jump in full force since I am just getting back into a routine. baboosicbass08- check your pms.
  6. The time has come for me to make drastic lifestyle changes. Over the past several years I have continued to fatten up and smoke despite promises that I would change my unhealthy habits. I am now facing the reality that now is the time to change, I am the only one that can make these changes, and I have the will power to make these changes. I purchased a gym membership today for the year for $99. Today is going to be my final day of smoking and living a glutenous lifestyle. If any other members would like to join me in this conquest for mutual support it would be greatly appreciated. If there are any members that have substantial fitness and weightlifting experience, I would really appreciate any advice that you have. My main goal is weight loss, but I will be strength training as well to boost mass to raise metabolism. So any work out plans, diet plans, or advice on supplements would be great. Thanks guys! Happy New Year!!! T- 19 hours until Operation Lop-down commences.
  7. I also noticed that theme just from the trailer. Isn't it the point of the movie? Yes. I think James Cameron attempted to portray the people of Pandora in such a way to demonstrate the plight of indigenous peoples and garner sympathy... I will leave it at that to avoid spoiling the film or getting political. :-X
  8. Trying to outrun a train after 3 flaming Dr. Peppers. It felt like I was running in slo-mo. Looking for a campsite at 1 am at Amicalola falls, going down a trail and not a road till it got so narrow there were only inches on either side of my tire. Than having to go in reverse uphill for about a half mile without rolling truck of the moutainside. Getting within 20 feet of a momma black bear and her cubs. Jumping the cliffs at devil's den near Gainsville, Fl. Telling Mom that Dad was looking at women at the mall when I was a about 5. 8-)
  9. When I was a kid we always used to spend a day at the beach in Key Largo and Islamorada. Now that I live near my grandparents, we have a mini fishing derby at my grandad's pond.
  10. I really enjoyed the movie and was stunned by the special effects. Avatar is truly a visual masterpiece. As a fan of history, I could not help but notice the parallel to colonialism/imperialism and certain contempoary issues. I would definitely see it again.
  11. wow...great fish!

Doesn't matter if Walmart did not notice. He still ripped them off, which is wrong.

    Stealing is always wrong.
  14. Last time I checked, the Cowboys were up by 11. ;D Unfortunately, the Saints will probably stage a miraculous comeback like they have all season.
  15. Woot Woot!! I'm in the top 10.
  16. For those of you that think it is no big deal to take students to Hooters, I would like for you to take a few moments to consider the following... Would you mind if your girl friend, wife, or daughter worked at Hooter's? Would you take your girl friend, wife, or mother to Hooter's? Would you take a first date to Hooter's? I love the wings at Hooter's but I would never take a woman there and I would never take my own children there. It is obvious that the experience in Hooter's is a sexually charged dining experience. It is fine for adults, but I cannot imagine a teacher taking students there to eat. As far as high school girls in skimpy attire, they are wearing clothing that is functional and appropriate for physical activities not for the enjoyment of others. Conversely, the women at Hooter's are dressed in such a way for the express purpose of sexual enticing and arousing the customers for finacial gain. Therefore, it is not fair to compare the two as the context differs so greatly. Moreover, one is a group of minors versus a group of adults. With that said, I will be picking up an order of 20 hot wings before tomorrow's nights game along with some Dos Equis. 8-)
  17. Kent- I have been throwing the BCR893 GLX with a chronarch 50mg since last Christmas. This was my first high dollar setup and I was hestitant at first to fork out the cash for it. I am glad to say that it was worth every cent. I can't believe how sensitive and light the rod is. Once paired with the 50mg it is a match made in heaven. I can throw this rod all day long without the slighest bit of shoulder fatigue. I use it for senkos, but have also enjoyed throwing a gautlet of soft plastic applications. You will not be let down. I think you will be super pleased with this rod paired with the new core 50mg. If I had some money around, I would certainly upgrade my reel. Good luck!
  18. That is so beautiful!!! I miss getting snow.
  19. I am looking at getting either a Samsung Impression, Solstice, or Mythic. I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience with these phones good or bad. Thanks for your help.
  20. Turkey a la King is one of my favorites. Just cut turkey up and cook in with a gravy ,sliced mushrooms, and onions. Than serve over white rice.
  21. x2...was an amazing creature. :-? Have you guys ever eaten gator? Yup, but is he going to supply an all-you-can-eat buffet with it? ;D He might need a bigger freezer.
