  1. Where in Alabama did you get that beast?
  2. What section of the coosa river will you be fishing? I like to fish north of Cooter's pond and just south of Wetumpka and the dam on lake Jordan. While water clarity ranges depending on recent precipitation and how they are running the dams, it is mostly stained. I have found cranks and watermelon or pumpkinseed worms to be my favorite things to throw. Creek mouths always seem to be the best places to fish. Good luck and have fun. I am going this weekend and the forecast looks terrific! 7. Great job, Paul. You always catch some good ones!
  8. Went out early this morning around 5:30 with my dad. He caught 3 using a rattletrap and a worm and I caught two on a watermelon red flake eeliminator. Both of us had a fish that went 3 or 4lbs. I decided to go back in the afternoon even though the wind was blowing around 10mph. I was throwing a black and chrome rattletrap without much luck. Then I got a great hit and set the hook. The fish took off and started peeling out line. I knew I had a good one on. Then the fat heifer jumped out of the water and threw the hook. :'( I casted in the same area a few more times with no luck than worked further along the bank. I decided to comeback to the same area to cast to the fish I had lost. I could not get a bite on the rattletrap so I threw a watermelon trick stick with a chartreuse tail. I let it sit for a while and than tick, tick, tick... The line took off and I set the hook. The fight was on. She started to peel off line and came out of the water 3-4 times despite me keeping my rod low. My heart was pounding with anticipation hoping I would land her. I got her in and managed to get a couple pics before releasing her.
  9. I was wondering if any of you have ordered exotic meats from an online store. I would like to get some elk, bison, kangaroo, and maybe a few other meats. What site did you use? What did you get? How was it? Any meats you suggest?
