  1. Welcome back!!!!!!! Good to have you aboard again.
  2. I use a Loomis BSR852 for fishing like how you describe. But seeing your a co-angler this rod may be a little long from the back of the boat.
  3. Vinny brings up a valid point. It could be some in the set up. Most jigs work best with a 7' MH or heavier rod 12lb+ line. Bigger the jig bigger the equipment needed. My favorite jig I build right now is the Big O Brush series. Its a big heavy duty jig that fishes like a light wire jig. The hook penetration on this thing is outstanding. If you have any questions feel free to pm me or email me.
  4. just built these! All Bismuth. One of them is an owner xxx hook .
  5. I have purchased a few of these. I'm hoping to put them in action soon.
  6. Now that is cool for a DI unit!
  7. I typically use a football style with the wire spring. Once in awhile I'll use a roundball. That is pretty much the only styles I shaky with.
  8. Very nice fish!!
  9. Holy moly Kent!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Wow, Nice catching!
  11. I mostly use them in the warmer months when the forage is bigger
  12. Is it a top pour or injection? Add salt to it to get it to fall faster like a senko. That will stiffen it up some too. If its a top pour just pour the belly section with salt and leave the top soft for the tail action. I wouldnt use the hardener.
  13. I've had several pairs over the years and I finally went with the glass lens. I highly recommend you go this route also. Like above get the mirrored ones.
  14. For me it reacts about like softener. Just the other way. LOL I typically go by the cup or 1/2 cup on my formulas. So if I actually use it which is rare I start out with a teaspoon.
  15. I use the lobster size most of the time. Once in awhile when I'm finesse jigging I'll downsize.
  16. Your a lucky man!!! Good luck in your adventure and bring back some pictures.
  17. I dont have them up there yet. I can pour the round ball shakey heads.
  18. Its a little bit less dense.
  19. Interesting. Very Very interesting. I'm thinking when I get all hooked up I'm going to go for a dive and see how the LSS picks up a diver.
