  1. Thanks Glenn, I'd like to see some type of hard fact on this. Without it, we are wasting our time in rumors.
  2. Anyone planning a trip to Lake St Clair this year? I'm planning on it mid May. I hope it turns out better then last year. I had one good evening last year. Hooked into about 30 fish in about an hr. The rest was tough fishing.
  3. I agree Raul. The weights are cool but I really dont need any hooks.
  4. in that price range I'd stick with AL. If you bust a hole in it, its cheaper and easier to fix. Plus alot of older glass boats you might run into rotten transoms. AL boats you can also fix easily on most of them.
  5. I need a room mate for one night. Or I can sleep on a floor. maybe just my boat LOL I'll send you the form.
  6. That is really close. I did some weight measurements and my 3/4 poisen was almost exactly 1/2 oz. It makes really nice lighter bulky baits. I just hate how expensive it is.
  7. I have. Its more difficult to work with then lead but the melting point is alot lower. It works great in non detailed molds. I tried it in a poisen mold and it was almost impossible to get out.
  8. What I'd like to see under my tree is a Hollis backplate and wing. heck throw in an Atomic octo M1 to boot.
  9. How I typically do this is by fishing my proven baits to knock the dust off and develop a pattern. Then from there I will venture out to different colors or techniques. Same thing I do when I test baits or colors. Why waste your time if the fish are on jigs and your throwing a buzzbait. Not all lures are going to produce year round. You need to do the book work on a technique before even trying it IMO.

  12. Thats pretty expensive. I'd do more searching. Jigman has some good pointers.
  13. Try to get off Monday. "The Party" is Sunday afternoon/ evening when everyone is arriving. This is one of the highlights of the entire week! I will try. Who all will be there saturday? I might have an open seat in the boat if I get off that monday. If I make it which I'm planning on. RW you must to fish with me. RW- thats what I'm afraid of. I could end up being the one made fun of on the board real easy. ;D
  14. Well RW, If you are going Saturday. I think I can swing this one. I'll probably have to camp though. I can be there that weekend as of right now.
  15. What size wire are most of you all using to tie your jigs. I'm thinking about going a shade bigger.
  16. holy crap. Very nice.
  17. I completely agree. To me it makes no sense but I'm open to that opinion.
  18. Hit me up next week and I'm in. It will take me a bit to get back in the groove.
  19. Wow, you know its windy when Momma goes too.
  20. I would bet this comes down to ford vs chevy argument. I like the motor, over all. I just hope I dont have another computer issue. I shouldnt. Right now if I was in the market for a new motor it would be an etec or Yamaha.
