Not really. These fish were targeting wood structure in shallower water 4-6 ft but notice I said but. LOL you had to have deep water accessible. Those backgrounds where the boat sits is in about 15-20 fow.

Smoked them pretty good. Caught alot of fish. Here are some pics. One was on a rattle trap and the rest were on a Evergreen finesse jig or a Clearwater finesse jig colors. any of you guys know how much of a difference this makes? There are so many types out there I dont want to waste money but I dont want junk ones if its worth it.

cabelas use to sell them by the 6 pack cheaper. I dont know if they do any longer. The only way I know of to do this on those lures is a local mom/pop shop that will do a special order for you. Pradco(bomber) I do believe has a min order. Rapala probably does too.

I very rarely use rattles anymore, but like Senile1 said. Dont leave them out. At times they are benificial. Some of those for me are night and muddy water.

I use a 2 part epoxy. Loctite is a good one. Really what you need to watch for is how thick it is. If the epoxy is too thin it will run up the fibers and then dry them together. Devcon was one of my favorites but its hard to find now.

IMO yes. I've forgot to insert the pin a couple times and it does fill the hole. This is why I use the pin deal. Its fast and easy. No mess no cleaning the pin hole. Turns out a perfect jig head every time.
