Maybe if Iaconelli could ride a bull Versus would give him a better time slot. ;D
  2. Welcome and good luck on the job search!!
  3. I've always used Zoom. They are inexpensive ( compared to Yammamoto), easy to find, and catch fish. I would have to hear some strong recommendations to make me try something else.
  4. It is most likely the cd-RW issue. Even if you get it to burn on one, they won't play in most regular CD players. Also, download I-tunes. It is easier to use than Windows media player.
  5. I'm sure I can see the four horsemen right behind Snoop and Willie.
  6. I fish a large reservoir out of a small boat so I get skunked from a few times a year.
  7. I'd go with the Compre for $100. If you can go a little bit over budget the Crucials are awesome.
  8. I made a trip to Dick's today. They shelves were pretty bare so I didn't spend all of the money, but I couldn't leave without buying a few things. I got a 100 series and 300 series Bandit, some green pumpkin Ikas, a Cavitron buzz bait, A Daiwa peanut and DR Minnow ( on sale for 2.99 ea), zoom horny toads and big ol monster worms, 2 red eye shads, and some other assorted weights etc. The best part was I had a return that they would only give me store credit on so after all of this I still have $62 to spend. the one thing they had that I forgot to get was the White trash skinny dippers ( I'll grab those on my next trip). Hopefully they will be restocked when I go back. None of the Rapala was on sale so I didn't buy any ( hopefully they are next time I go). Thanks again for your advice.

  15. Thanks for all of your responses. So far I am going to get some cavitron buzzbaits, some big worms, jointed shad raps, and some bandit crankbaits. I am also going to get some fat Ika's since I read so many good things about them on here. Any other suggestions?
  16. I am fishing out of a boat most of the time. I have a good selection of lures for a beginner, but there is still a lot of empty space in my tackle bag. I guess since I have this gift card burning a hole in my pocket, I was wanting to try some baits that I have not used but others have had success with, and fill in essential items that I just haven't bought yet.
  17. Zoom.
  18. Shimano Stradic or Saros. They are smooth and the drags are awesome.
  19. I got a $100 Dick's gift card for my birthday. I am fairly new to Bass fishing and I want to get any "must have" items I don't already have. It would be difficult to tell you what baits I have, but if you tell me what you would buy I will just buy the items I don't already have. I've bought a fair amount of tackle this year but the baitmonkey says I need more and I am afraid of what will happen if I say no to him. ;D
  20. Falcon worm speedbags. Very convenient and easier than worm binders IMHO. However, I never thought of using a cooler - sounds interesting.
  21. Great video. Thanks for posting the link.

I am an installed sales manager for a large building materials company. Basically, I package material and labor together - mostly for large wood framing jobs like apartments, hotels, and assisted living centers. In other words I am an adult babysitter.
  23. Shimano Crucial. Light, sensitive, reasonably priced, top notch components, and the best warranty going.
  24. At least $200 per month, but I can quit any time I want to!
  25. Grew up in Palm Beach Couny, Florida. Now living in Upstate SC.
