  1. Glenn- Thanks alot for adding Overstock Bait & Tackle to the advertisers. I hit the link and almost without thinking the baitmonkey pulled a $50.00 out of my wallet and sent it off. Wife is going to kill me when she sees the statement. Seriously- fantastic prices. I have been lookin for 3/8 oz. Terminator football jigs everywhere and they have them, not to mention the Pro's Top Secret also. Both at bargain prices. Tiki Crawdudes for $.99? I would encourage anyone with some disposable income to check out and bookmark this site.
  2. This is why I think the RageTail line of baits is growing in popularity by leaps and bounds. Consistency due to great materials used, innovative packaging assuring no duds in the pack, and the fact they flat out work. Big-O was ahead of his time in the design and packaging part of these. Sure they cost a tad more but how many of us have pulled out a bait from a bag where they were all smashed together and the tails or other parts bent and would not work properly. As far as hard baits, a little tuning is a part of the game. The important thing is if after you are done tuning and satisfied with the baits performance, does it catch fish. Agree 100% with Muddy on this. Bobby makes great jigs also. Anyone who is deterred by the price will be delighted with the results.
  3. Again, great picks Mudmeister- But I think 2110 might be a better timeframe. :D
  4. Good to hear everyone's opinion and for the most part all are reasonable and fair responses. I expected alot of Red Sox votes due to the number of east coast guys on here. Seems only negative stuff coming from White Sox fans. Aren't they 4-5 games under .500 with their full roster in tact? Don't they also lead the league in being shut out at 9?. I have to admit I am a born and raised Cubs fan first and a Chicago fan second. In 2005, I was cheering the Sox on to a well deserved victory in the World Series. I can guarantee you this - If the Cubs ever do make it to the World Series and miraculously win it, there will be a whole lot of Sox fans that simply will not be able to accept it and be crying in their beer or malt liquor. That to me is the main difference between a Cubs fan and a White Sox fan. Everyone I know was happy for the Sox when they won it all but as I said I know the opposite won't be the case if and when the Cubs ever win it all. ;D ;D JMHO
  5. Bring it on baby!! Anyone can be a tough guy behind a computer. > >
  6. I was wondering where that Sox vote came from. I will agree that Ozzie is more entertaining but that's cause he is a nut case himself. Lou is much more funny in the true sense of the word. 8-)
  7. Muddy- I fully understand. Thus is all good natured fun but I had to get a jab in at all the Cubs haters out there. I think they're all just jealous. ;D ;D
  8. Send some pix to your local DNR. They should be able to help or at least steer you to someone that could.
  9. Partially correct. Salt does add taste. Blood is very salty. The baits you buy with salt on the outside might claim they are salt impregnated but might not be. Salt on the outside will wash off after first. Afterall, it's what's inside that counts. Sinkrate on salt impregnated baits is controlled by amount of salt added.
  10. If other, please note. If you disapprove of a team other than the one you voted for, keep it to yourself.
  11. All great and funny but man, it sound like someone has too much time on their hands.
  12. Chris- Now you could start your own show! Oh wait, that's been done. You could do yours on largemouth, not smallmouth like hook n look. Seems to be all that show is ever about. Did see one on spots though. Off my DVR list. Or maybe you could rent yourself out to fisherman wanting a better view of what is actually on their favorite spots. Cool pics and great idea!

Don't need one. My wife just says no.
  14. Hard to pick favorites but here goes: 1) Pre-sober Aerosmith 2) Motorhead 3) ACDC 4) The Who 5) Judas Priest Too many to list.
  15. Read that also. Rope around his neck and other pars of his body. Sad but true.
  16. No post about last nights game? Alot of you Cubs haters seem to know an awful lot about your hated team. I couldn't even tell you the name of the Brewers G.M. let alone their manager as I don't waste time following and hating them. Also, what have the Virginia - oh wait, Virginia doesn't have any professional sports teams. maybe soccer. Not to make excuses which Cubs fans have been known to do, but they have lost their best hitter, their #2 pitcher, their ace for a couple of reasons, and their starting right fielder for a few reasons and they are still in the thick of things, it must not be too bad.
  17. They are exactly the same as GYCB baits but packed less to a bag to make you think you are getting a better deal. They work just as good also.
  18. Hate to admit it but Burley is right on on this one. Head and shoulders above the rest.
  19. That's supposed to be hush-hush Speed.

Looks like another member of the RageTail army!
  21. Buy some and read the package. Very versatile and something the fish haven't seen before. Big-O might be able to help you out more in depth. Once you try them you will be a lifetime member of the RageTail army!
  22. Short Bus Passengers :D Never Give Up.

Never seen or heard of it even though I channel surf as much as any Guy. Let me take a stab at this. It's a reality show? If quote is true I totally agree with GP.
  24. First I think Tyrius has Aaron Martens mixed up with Scott Martin. Easy mistake. Second, in Scott's commercial that he says"why get by on 100% effort when you can get by with 50%" he is referring to the effort it takes to stow and deploy the trolling motor he is selling, not his own personal work ethic. He does come off a little arrogant in that commercial but it's probably all part of the schtick. JMHO. I did meet Roland at a local boat show and he was very gracious. I got a signed picture - for free!
  25. Careful- That could be construed as torture.
