  11. After suffering some of the same unsatisfactory and unexplained foolishness you mentioned, I've switch from Power Pro myself. Sufix 832 Braid Lo-Vis Green has be a solid & reliable replacement. I'd recommend you try out a small "tester" spool for yourself before going all in on a career supply Good Luck A-Jay

If you're looking for a weighted swim bait hook - check out Falcon Lures Bait-Jerk Superline Hook 5/0 & 6/0 works for me If you're looking for a straight up ewg - check out the Owner Wide Gap Plus - Beast of a hook - same sizes. Also a Trokar Mag worm hook - same sizes - but this one is a little longer with a little less "gap" A-Jay

  23. I do fish extremely clear water up here - but don't use any Fluorocarbon line or leaders. Standard procedure here does usually require a drop in line size to get bit, especially for smallmouth. It's one of the reasons I fish a lot at night in the summer - takes all that out of the equation. Just can't wrap my mind around bright yellow braid unless I have a 25 foot leader A-Jay
