  1. Really glad you're enjoying the success. And stock hook replacement is almost always S.O.P. ~ A-Jay
  2. WOW ~ That's a lucky man right there - stupid, but lucky. If the moon roof had been open, he'd of ended up right in the driver's lap . . . . . . A-Jay
  3. You'll have to decide on either a boot foot model or stocking foot with a pair of wading shoes. There are advantages (and disadvantages) to both. I prefer the stocking foot (and wading shoe) deal. There are a ton of options out there. Cabela's offers a few decent models at a fair price. Good Luck ~ and don't forget a wading belt. A-Jay
  4. I am a Big fan of the 6th Sense Square bill and my confidence in them is growing every trip ~ Although most of the fish I've taken on them & then posted up recently have been brown bass, the green bass are very fond of them has well. A-Jay
  5. ^^^^^^^^ Really Nice Bass ~ Congrats You are Killing it . . . . A-Jay
  6. Hello Derrick and Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  7. Hello Ryan and Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  8. Congrats Man ~ That's a healthy one right there. You're a brave soul swinging that big pig up & into the boat. A-Jay
  9. geo g, using "ridiculous" ( defined as; arousing or deserving ridicule: extremely silly or unreasonable : absurd, preposterous) is a poor choice of words. Your post indicates little to no night fishing experience. You are missing out on one of bass fishing's truly magical experiences and I'd urge you to give it a try. As mentioned by a few Very Accomplished anglers here, the benefits are many. Additionally, you can't realize them reading about it. You'll have to get out on the water as see (or not) for yourself. A-Jay
  10. Nice Bass ~ A-Jay
  11. Mr Swindle passes on an interesting diving maneuver he calls "the Romp & Stomp". May be something new to some but not exactly new to the urban residence. I do like the name though. A-Jay https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=732794966777330&set=vb.101115099945323&type=2&theater
  12. Hello and Welcome to BR ~ A-Jay
  13. Yup - Lake Erie Smallies are real addicting. A member here, Dwight Hottle, turned me on to the magic that big body of water offers (and I could never thank him enough) The fall bite should be coming on once the water temps start to dip - you should get over there if you can. I hope to. A-Jay
  14. A Pflueger Supreme XT Spinning Reel matched with a Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth Spinning Rod. A Sweet set up that balances & fishes very nicely. The price point is fair & reasonable as well. Choose the action that suits your needs. btw - these rods work perfectly on green bass too . . . . . A-Jay
  15. You're a good man and she's very lucky to have you in here life. She knows you only want the best for her but like all of us, she has to find her own way. I had one of these myself - except it took me over 10 years to figure it out and cost me a portion of my retirement. Perhaps she'll learn from this; I know I certainly did. Best part about the whole thing is that you were there when she asked & needed you. A-Jay
