  1. Interesting design but I'm apprehensive. With that line tie on the nose of the jig, when fishing in hard cover (rocks especially) what's preventing the line from chaffing or at least being somewhat damaged as the jig bounces the line off the rocks ? At least with a regular line tie eyelet, the jig will not be wearing away at the line where it connects every cast. Looks like a big fish story waiting to happen. #hardpass A-Jay
  2. You know I can ultra dink it up with the best of them ~ While wearing Bug Man Sunglasses at the same time ! 😎 A-Jay
  3. Both my cameras are manually operated. I run the camera at the back of my rig (which faces forward) to capture me 'fishing'. It runs pretty much the entire time I'm on the water. I do not high light portions of the video, I simply take what I want from each clip during the editing process. The more I did it, the better I got at it. It's actually fairly easy and not at all time consuming once you get used to it. My 'forward' camera, is used and turned on & off for specific opportunities, (clip intro, fish weigh & display) and is very easy to edit as there is far less content on that deal each trip. I am not a Short Cut kind of guy - don't always look for the easiest way. I'm more about the most effective way and then I fine tune it the best I can. There is no question that running video, (especially fishing solo), absolutely cuts into my fishing time. However, I almost always get out of any endeavor, whatever I am willing to put into it. And that's what enables me to get shots like this. Good Luck A-Jay
  4. Line or equipment? Line. It's the only thing between me and my new PB, regardless of the cost of my tackle. There is nothing more final in fishing than broken line. btw, I use Tatsu quite a bit. A-Jay
  5. Workout Day 4 today. Completed 3 working sets of the 4 movements scheduled. Showing them here. Felt good and I like that. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  6. With the exception of some dressed trebles on a few topwater baits (not made by Rebel) there is NOT A STOCK Treble on anything I throw. I should have take stock in Owner Hyper wire oval & round split rings too. The op's post is the driving force. As a side note, slightly 'oversized' tackle comes in handy as well. 7. Sabbatical for me = Doesn't get big bass bites for me here. Eventually they usually get rehomed during hard water season. #glidebaits A-Jay
  8. The recording time of a 256GB SD card varies based on video resolution and bitrate. Roughly, it can record around 22 hours of 1080p HD video, 5-6 hours of 4K Ultra HD video, or 1-2 hours of 8K Ultra HD video. A-Jay
  9. Some days just start out better than others ~ A-Jay
  10. Looping is cool until it's not done correctly or one 'forgets' to save an important clip. Then the camera records right over it and it's gone forever. For the record I NEVER USE THE LOOP, EVER. IMO, it's an accident waiting to happen. A-Jay
  11. Workout Day 3 today. Been trying to stay on track with my training days and fishing days. Don't really want to miss either of both (if any). So far so good. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  12. "The value of counting the fish I catch" is clearly a personal matter that satisfies whatever one believes to be 'valuable'. Personally, I chose to count the ones that count. YMMV A-Jay

  14. I was where I wanted to be and when I wanted to be there early this morning. Problem was, a big weed die off was fouling just about every other cast. Water temps were still 70 and I was on some bait in a few spots, so I stuck with it a while. Glad I did. A Fat Smallie hammered a spinnerbait and then a complete Tanker of a Musky swallowed my jackhammer like it was a tic tac. Fight was tricky (no wire) but we got her done. Fun morning and a great way to break in the new Go Pros. A-Jay
  15. Got my annual Musky Quota checked off this morning. What Brute ! Thanks for the inspiration @T-Billy A-Jay
  16. 5.24 lbs on the full moon today ~ A-Jay

  20. I'll be out doing the same. But expect to be fishing difference baits and about 1000 miles west. Good Luck ~ 😎 A-Jay
  21. Oh come on now. Bet you say that to all the boys. A-Jay
  22. My rig is like this as well. Truck is 3/4 " and the trailer is 13/16" with a deep socket or something wacky like that. Here's another tip . . . Purchase a few extra trailer lug nuts and keep them in your towing vehicle. I stripped one out a while back. A-Jay
  23. Just realized never added the review. So this is what some of 2023 looked like. https://youtu.be/wfSXXO7wgfw?feature=shared A-Jay
  24. Thanks for the kind words and Not to hi-jack this thread . . . . But that's a REALLY tough Call IMO. One I can't truly answer, especially as an all season producer. I have Seasonal Favorites which are often a 'type' of bait. Like Pre-spawn and going along with this thread, A jerkbait has been like magic - was again this April for sure. A vibrating jig gets honorable mention during that time as well. But late summer and into fall, Topwater, A-Rig, Spinnerbaits and vibrating jigs again, all account for plus size fish for me. Perhaps some of this could help . . . You might see some 'trends'. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/209845-2018-~-my-most-productive-baits-by-season/ https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/221344-my-2019-list-of-productive-baits-~/ https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/233905-my-most-productive-baits-~-2020-edition/ https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/243659-my-most-productive-baits-~-2021-edition/ https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/252064-productive-baits-~-2022-big-fish-edition/ https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/258333-productive-baits-2023-~/ A-Jay
