  1. Strike King makes a couple of different models - I've been using them for the last few years. They do exactly what they're suppose to and are reasonably priced. A-Jay
  2. You'll probably get a wide array of answeres on this. I find that it is considerably easier to load / launch & cast with a properly matched / balance fiberglass rod & reel when compared to graphite. So there you go. A-Jay
  3. Nice job Guys ~ And that's a Cool handle on the St Croix Dwight - Will that new stick be making the trip South of the Border in March ? and btw - I'm going to ignore your thread title . . . . . . . . A-Jay
  4. An old married couple no sooner hit the pillows when the old man passes gas and says, 'Seven Points.' His wife rolls over and says, 'What in th...e world was that?' The old man replied, 'its fart football.' A few minutes later his wife lets one go and says, 'Touchdown, tie score...' After about five minutes the old man lets another one go and says, 'Aha. I'm ahead 14 to 7.' Not to be outdone the wife rips out another one and says, 'Touchdown, tie score.' Five seconds go by and she lets out a little squeaker and says, 'Field goal, I lead 17 to 14.' Now the pressure is on for the old man. He refuses to get beaten by a woman, so he strains real hard. Since defeat is totally unacceptable, he gives it everything he's got, and accidentally poops in the bed. The wife says, 'What the hell was that?' The old man says, 'Half time, switch sides . . . . . . When I first heard this one, I thought that after the Old Man soiled the bed, his wife was going to yell . . FUMBLE . . . . . . A-Jay
  5. Paul Elias used them down on Falcon to catch that record tournament weight a few years back - I am a big fan of those worms myself. A-Jay
  6. When I was a younger man growing up in Boston, back when "18" was legal age and Aerosmith was first getting established, Steven Tyler and the boys used to do unannounced pop - ins at some of the small local pubs / bars in and around the Boston Area. If a place had some kind of a decent stage and sound system, they'd just bust in and play a few songs right before last call - The place would just blow up ! A couple of times we were in places that had less than 100 or so people left in them before the band would show up. Of course, this was well before the social media era began, so unless you were there already, by the time you heard about it - it was over. Good Times man. A-Jay

It has one but it's of no use in that weather. Using it brings out the real Molson ICE. But can you say ~ Flask ~ I can . . . A-Jay

LOL When I was stationed down in NC, I was impressed at how that was routinely conducted with some type of Farming vehicle . . . A-Jay

Yes I Do - that phrase followed almost every event planned or not - ". . . . . . . .OK sounds good, But I gotta hit the Packy first" Go Times were sure to be had by all. A-Jay
  12. I've looked but can't find if the Japanese version of this reel differs at all from the model being sold domestically. Anyone have some incite on this ? Thanks in advance A-Jay
  13. How Cool is That ~ ! Appears as though Pete has been able to build a solid mix of Old School research methods combined with some of the more technical data available today to help him become familiar with a lake he's never fished. Stakes are High at the Bassmaster Classic . . . . A-Jay
  14. Tackle Warehouse sells a Pro Locker Rod Bag - Might be what you're looking for. Sorry but we can't post a link to non-sponsored sites. A-Jay

I do remember 78 - EPIC ! That was right before I enlisted. I was laying low on delayed entry. Entire state was in lock down. All there was left to do was drink - so that's what every one did - then they would form fairly sizable gangs and venture to other neighborhood and fight . . .of course after two days of that all the "Packies" (Beantown word for liquor store) were closed until the roads opened back up and people could go to work . . . . . aaaaah - the good old days - thanks for helping me remember. Have fun with that - Most of my family is still down your way - I'm sure I'll hear about "all the snow". Usually takes us a couple of days or so to get that - but we also have some place to put it . . . . . A-Jay
  17. I routinely find both in, around and on some type of structure. But where lmb seem to prefer some cover as well, smb can do without it. A-Jay
  18. That is a very nice vehicle ~ Not that I have anything against Fords, but I married into a GM family and as such, there are certain "benefits" regarding sticker price that sort of steer me in a GM kind of direction. My "garage Queen" 06 GTO when purchased was in my price range. I'm scheduled and ready for upgrade and this new Vette might be it. Even though the GTO does have a Corvette engine, it would be nice to have the whole car. A-Jay
  19. WOW ~ ! Very Nice. 7 speed Tremec manual, Zero to Sixty in under 4 seconds and with an advertised Top Speed of 190 mph that's a heck of a Daily Driver. It will be a while before they'll be available in my neck of the woods but I'll test drive one when I can . . . . A-Jay

  23. I do fish quite a bit at night - it's just very cool - the whole experience. But I do not fish from the bank. I've seen a couple of the "maker of the tracks" in and around the boat ramps so . . . A-Jay
  24. The Old Billy Baroo - Keep the hooks out of your face while your kissing it ~ A-Jay
  25. Both you and Your "Boss" have chosen a path where these situations are often encountered. As a result you and he are "playing by a much different set of rules". I'm betting you are already familiar with them - It's the "anything goes" rules . . . . . . Without communication - sometimes peoples imagination runs a little wild, which when mixed with no rules - is a bad combination . . . . Put yourself in his place - the man thinks you stole from him . . . . . Go there - tell him you are and were not involved with any loss of funds and hope he believes you. You have no leverage here - give back the key. - Do not make him come looking for you - because you know he will . . . . . . . A-Jay
