I agree there is little chance this is actually anything to be concerned with - yet. But - would there be cause for concern if there was a distinct "Ticking" sound coming somewhere on the rig ? A-Jay

Pinned Good Seller/buyers List Post, Bad Suggestion?
A while ago I signed up for UPS My Choice. It's easy, free and convenient. Allows easy tracking and you'll get email notifications prior to delivery. Not the end all answer to all shipping woes but does add a little piece of mind. A-Jay

It's Not Over Yet (But It's Close)
Wimpy maybe - but in the wind and before and after the sun, it was pretty Brisk. Not a fan of the freezing rod guides and line pawl on the reel either. A-Jay

A Stout Waldo
Battled cold, wind and freezing guides to target smb on a lake that holds some real pigs. Well, I Didn't see one all day - instead this big headed brute hammered a slow rolled hollow belly swimbait (on a Jighead) half way up a drop in 20 fow. Made my day. A-Jay

Fishing In The Middle Of Brush Piles....*updated*11/11
Nice work Jeff ~ That's what I call Dedication - or is it Obsession ? I always get those two confused. Those will be some way points that I'd imagine you'll visit routinely (or every trip). In an effort to avoid detection, do you plan on sinking them under the cover of darkness ? A-Jay

Dumb Things You Have Said Or Done
Well before these days of the information highway (or anything even close). I talked a friend of mine into taking a fairly lengthy ride to fish a small lake I spent quite a bit of time on as a youth ( in his vehicle). I hadn't been up there in several years nor did I know anyone still living on the lake. So we load his truck and headed up. When finally got there, the lake had long since been drained / dried up and was now a very nice cow pasture. As I remember it, I bought the dinner, the beer and 2 tanks of gas for that one. A-Jay

Salmon River (Ny) Steelhead, October 21 - 26, 2012
Nice job guys ! True trophies right there. Additionally, I'd like to compliment Aaron M. on his most superb choice in hats. Way to represent "The Nation". (Despite a pathetic past couple of season) A-Jay

Zoom Lizards
True lizard fishing aficionado's might be interested in this bait. "Larry the Lizard" ~ it's a 10" bait with a glass rattle in the tail. He does offer a 6" version as well. A-Jay http://shop.larrythelizardcustombaits.com/10-Inch-Rattlin-Larry-the-Lizards_c6.htm

Stihl Br 600 Magnum
Past few years (as well as at my last property) I did the Tarp deal. I Raked them onto the tarp and then used a small tractor to haul them off the property to be dumped back in the woods. It was an effective but very laborious process. The Back pack blower IS the way to go - at least for me. A-Jay
