With the "Official NFL Refs" back - I still expect plenty of Drama. The replacement guys made mistakes and the Regular crews did / will as well. These "Officials" will be in the spot light (even more than usual) with every call be scrutinized and / or compared to the calls made by the replacement Refs. With all the camera views and the extensive coverage for these games, and with a fan base that is fairly knowledgeable regarding the NFL rules and regulations, the Refs calls should Rarely be a surprise to anyone. For me, a good indication that the Refs called a good game, is when the calls that needed to be made are called, and the plays that are not infractions were not. So after the game, there is NO Mention of The Ref's at all. A-Jay

Easiest way for me to duplicate a "Natural" color regardless of where I'm fishing is to chose a bait that matches the color of the bottom. Unless I'm fishing topwater or even mid-depth, then I may take the color of the sky into consideration. This is when silhouette and contrast come into play. A-Jay

It does sound like tough fishing. But I actually really enjoy it when these anglers come up against these situations. I enjoy the big bass and big bags but rather than watching them fish bass that are chewing the paint off every bait in the box and smashing 25 - 30 pound bags everyday - this provides us with a chance to see what the best of the best do on a tough bite. I'm a few hours north and yes - we've had several days of Rain, Cold and Big Wind. Haven't seen any turn over yet but the wacky weather has Not helped the bite out at all on any of the waters locally. It's been very tough. This weekend still looks bogus with still more rain, wind and cooler air temps. But on a more positive note, next week is forecast to better with something closer to seasonal air temps and a heck of a lot less wind. btw - I've got a ton of In-Laws down your way. A-Jay
