Working to Stay Lean ~
First off, Thank you very much @schplurgfor the kind words & the support, I certainly appreciate it. Second, you & your story is what inspires me everyday and drives what I do in this thread. So thank you again for sharing this. And third, we may be more alike than you think. I'm just a regular guy who enjoys life and and there's a few very important reasons why, and they go well beyond simple survival. I hope to keep doing that as long as I can and with the highest quality possible. However, while hope is important, it's not really a strategy. Taking care of my humanness is the best way I know how. You're doing the same thing. “Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.” Stay at it Sir ! A-Jay

Bass Fishin in Tucson (not much water out here)

(For Me) the worst thing about Braid-line is.......
Most all of my braid use is on spinning gear. So 8 - 20 lb is where my needs lie. After being mostly disappointed & somewhat frustrated by the lack of 'fishing' products 'designed' to cut braid, that actually did and would hold an edge, a few years ago I went a different route and never looked back. https://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-190500-RazorEdge-Micro-Tip-Action/dp/B00UY11IFG?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 A-Jay

Boat and Tow Vehicle
I see a lot of threads where members are asking will my vehicle tow X. The question is not so much will my vehicle tow X, but will it stop it not under normal conditions, AND a panic stop, down hill stop ect. I have an 1875 aluminum rig fully loaded with 200 hp and I can push it into the garage myself so a pretty light vehicle can tow it, but I also know that stopping it is another thing altogether. A lot of people post where they tow their boats with their mini van. I just hope they are not doing it in my neighborhood. A-Jay

Drag Setting Method-Pro or Con
Casting controls and the drag are two aspect of my rigs that are 'adjustable'. And I do that on an as needed basis. All done by feel with a specific rig in hand. Don't recall many lost fish, especially bass, because I jacked up a drag setting. Once a fished is 'hooked', I almost always error on the side of less drag. A-Jay
