  1. Thanks ~ I have an older model G9. Had a Garage Queen LS2 GTO that I buffed out almost as much as I drove. Loved it though. Sold it in 2016 to help fund the Lund. I miss it - on & off. Sure was fun to drive - loved the short throw stick. A-Jay
  2. Well I finally did get to clean this new rig up. Past few days have been weather friendly so I spent them bringing the AT4 up to speed. Feels good to get a couple coats of wax on it as well as cleaning & conditioning the interior. Used a lot of micro fiber. A-Jay
  3. Congratulations Bass Resource on a Fantastic First 25 Years ! Here's to the next 25 being Even Better . . . . My Favorite fishery without a doubt is Lake Menderchuck. It's hard to find but totally worth it. A-Jay
  4. Mostly Megastrike for me . . . A-Jay
  5. Casts still bouncing here ~ ? A-Jay
  6. There are a number of very good grippers available - with & without scales, besides the bogo grip that cost quite a bit less. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=fish+gripper&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 Any one could do the job. A-Jay
  7. Rarely do we get "The Best" ( which is what you asked for) of anything without paying for it. A-Jay
  8. Not sure about 'the best' part but I use a 15 lb Boga grip and have a 6 inch Rapala white gripper at the end of my scale. Both work. A-Jay
  9. What can I say ~ At least I'm consistent. (and now thanks to you, quite thirsty) A-Jay

  11. The recent and most welcome warm spring like weather has got me thinking about mornings like this again ~ Who am I kidding, I'm always thinking about this ! 31 Days and a Wake Up. But it could come a bit earlier which wouldn't hurt my feelings any. A-Jay
  12. I used zip lock gallon bags for years. Finally went with large speed bags. Most Plastics stay in the original bags although I will remove any clam packing deals for space. A-Jay
  13. SWEET RIG ~ !!! Best of luck with her CONGRATULATIONS A-Jay
  14. While we're all sharing our battery stories..... I have been running 4 Optima 31M BLUE TOP AGM's since 2016. They are charged and maintained year round by Dual Pro Professional Series quad bank charger. My next post explain any problems I have experienced with either, will be my first. Cranker has successful started 2 different 200 hp Mercury's going on 5 years. As well as fully power up twin 12 ft Talons, twin 10 inch Helix units, 360 Imaging, and everything else not called a trolling motor. The 112 Fortrex still runs strong all day. All with Zero battery maintenance. Not sure what else I could ask for honestly. A-Jay
  15. Kya took a brief moment out of her rather rambunctious play time this morning for a photo op. She is one Happy Puppy ~ ! A-Jay
  16. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  17. There's no real secret or trick to cleaning that space. Most any suitable de-greaser with do the job. However, it's all about Access - rarely is it easy. My aluminum rig allows it but I have to be willing to dismantle a fair amount of my decking. Lots of hardware to remove & replace but it's doable, just very time consuming. A Glass rig might be a different story. A-Jay
  18. Thank you ~ Today is a 'Good' Day. A-Jay
  19. Yes Sir and Thank you for your service Sir ! A-Jay
  20. Thoughts are with you both my friend ~ A-Jay
  21. Thanks, Me Too ~ But I was always on the Atlantic somewhere under all that whiteness ~ #crazyride A-Jay
  22. Cool Pic ~ Clearly no Ice there. And interestingly enough, there's none of these up here . . A-Jay
  23. The first day of Spring 2021 has finally arrived. Always a fan favorite. Although the thought of this day may conjure up images of birds singing, flowers blooming & butterflies all over the place, that's really not happening up here yet. In reality, there's still some snow on the ground, nothing is growing in the partially frozen mud, and apparently most of the birds & all butterflies either didn't get the memo or they missed their flight north. It's been a fairly long winter so I'm attaching what I hope we'll be seeing again soon. The Greenness happens fast and is over way too soon. 32 Days and a Wake - Up ~ A-Jay
