Sunline Shooter Defier
I use Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo Nylon for topwater. I like it for that. I have not used the green Defier Nylon. However the $$ is about the same given the yds per spool. A-Jay

Timing
You're smack dab in the middle of a wide open world class big fish bite. You're killing it ! But you're on some big water and then . . . You see dark ominous really nasty weather approaching in the distance. How long do you wait before you head to the ramp and get off the water ? Do you wait a while and keep fishing, thinking "let's see what it does" ? Personally, I bail. #timing A-Jay

Fast, Mod Fast, or Mod for walk the dog?

Fast, Mod Fast, or Mod for walk the dog?
I fish mostly full size walking baits (3/4 oz at least) and have decent success with Medium Fast spinning gear & braid. I need long bomb casts & solid hookset, and this covers all of that for me. A-Jay

Which anchor pulls up the least mud and grass?
I use a 10 Mushroom anchor in my 16 ft canoe. Works well in everything except rocks. Either way, every anchor is going to bring up some of whatever it's set in. Comes with the territory. A-Jay

Major Boat Fail By A Pro (Aaron Britt)- video back up
I hear Ya @Glenn ~ You'll never see me doing it. I may have used up all my 'luck' saving other folks. Now, I got nothing but time. A-Jay He just took the video down ~ Surprised he loaded it up in the first place.

Major Boat Fail By A Pro (Aaron Britt)- video back up
Operating on the edge, going faster and faster, regardless of the conditions or the limitations of a rig or it's operator until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death. It's only a matter of time . . . Same decision made here by the same operator. Seen it many, many times. A-Jay

Weight scale
I've been using the Accu Cull Digital Scale 55lb for a few years now. I replace the hook with the Rapala Floating Fish Gripper 6 - Weighed some pretty respectable green and brown bass with this one. No Complaints. Links below. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Accu_Cull_Digital_Scale_55lb/descpage-ACCUSCALE.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_Floating_Fish_Grippers/descpage-RFFG.html A-Jay

A-Jay's 3rd Annual Ice Out / Open Water Countdown Thread ~
Way more fun to be right in the middle of. Although 10-15 ft was my favorite 'training' wave size. Can't believe they paid me for that. I would have done it for free. A-Jay

Saltwater Boat Names
Nothing wrong with "Jigfishn" Has a nice ring to it, it's easy to understand, say & repeat on the radio. One of my own requirements for any boat name. A-Jay

PSA ~ The Bass Boat Sank ~ This Could Happen To Any Of Us
The ACR ResQLink View - Buoyant GPS Personal Locator Beacon shown in @Glenn video is IMO the Single most important piece of equipment in my boat. Doesn't guarantee anything but it certainly improves my chances. A-Jay

Pre spawn jig colors
In this area most of them seem to be some combination of dark red, brown and perhaps a hint of orange at times. If you're interested, here's a bit more crayfish 'info' that I found fairly helpful. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/211811-brown-bass-tools-~-questions-answers/?do=findComment&comment=2389892 A-Jay
