  1. You could use something like this https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Mustad_Tungsten_TitanX_Fastach_Football_Weights/descpage-FTX.html And them go with a long Shank EWG from VMC ~ https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/VMC_X_Long_Wide_Gap_Hooks_5_pk/descpage-VMCXLWG.html A-Jay
  2. Caught my PB Brown Bass on this one. 3/4 oz Biovex Stangun in Funa Orange Belly Hard not to call it a 'favorite". A-Jay
  3. I use Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo Nylon for topwater. I like it for that. I have not used the green Defier Nylon. However the $$ is about the same given the yds per spool. A-Jay
  4. I hear ya ~ Sometimes it takes trial by fire. Glad you were OK. A-Jay

There's at least a couple of different versions of the snell knot ~ Here's Two A-Jay
  6. I have foul weather gear as well and not opposed to a little rain. It's more about the gale force winds and boat sinking waves for me. You know what it's like. ? A-Jay
  7. Nice Brown Bass ~ Congrats ! A-Jay

Good Luck @Glenn ~ btw ~ What are you using the 30 Leader for ? A-Jay
  9. You're smack dab in the middle of a wide open world class big fish bite. You're killing it ! But you're on some big water and then . . . You see dark ominous really nasty weather approaching in the distance. How long do you wait before you head to the ramp and get off the water ? Do you wait a while and keep fishing, thinking "let's see what it does" ? Personally, I bail. #timing A-Jay
  10. I use a few ~ SK Rage Craws, SK Rage Bugs, SK Rage Menace, Reins Punching Predator Creature Bait and a Berkley Power Bait Beast. (a discontinued bait unfortunately). A-Jay
  11. I am hoping it adds some life. A-Jay
  12. I fish mostly full size walking baits (3/4 oz at least) and have decent success with Medium Fast spinning gear & braid. I need long bomb casts & solid hookset, and this covers all of that for me. A-Jay
  13. I use a 10 Mushroom anchor in my 16 ft canoe. Works well in everything except rocks. Either way, every anchor is going to bring up some of whatever it's set in. Comes with the territory. A-Jay
  14. I hear Ya @Glenn ~ You'll never see me doing it. I may have used up all my 'luck' saving other folks. Now, I got nothing but time. A-Jay He just took the video down ~ Surprised he loaded it up in the first place.
  15. Yup - it's from his channel. A-Jay
  16. Operating on the edge, going faster and faster, regardless of the conditions or the limitations of a rig or it's operator until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death. It's only a matter of time . . . Same decision made here by the same operator. Seen it many, many times. A-Jay

I've been using the Accu Cull Digital Scale 55lb for a few years now. I replace the hook with the Rapala Floating Fish Gripper 6 - Weighed some pretty respectable green and brown bass with this one. No Complaints. 18. Way more fun to be right in the middle of. Although 10-15 ft was my favorite 'training' wave size. Can't believe they paid me for that. I would have done it for free. A-Jay
  19. Warm & Wicked Windy here today. Maybe this will blow the ice away . . . . . 41 Days 03 Hours 46 minutes . . . ? A-Jay
  20. Started to bust a move today. Final field day before Operation Payload. Thanks for the motivation. A-Jay
  21. Hello Rich and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Good Luck on your panfish quest and enjoy the snow. A-Jay
  22. That is awesome Thank you. A-Jay
  23. Nothing wrong with "Jigfishn" Has a nice ring to it, it's easy to understand, say & repeat on the radio. One of my own requirements for any boat name. A-Jay
  24. The ACR ResQLink View - Buoyant GPS Personal Locator Beacon shown in @Glenn video is IMO the Single most important piece of equipment in my boat. Doesn't guarantee anything but it certainly improves my chances. A-Jay
