  2. I'm going with neither. Might be more about vibration and or profile Sort of like asking which color is more visible in total darkness. And don't give that hogwash about red. A-Jay
  3. See Ya ~ and thanks for nothing . . . A-Jay
  4. As a fan of round reels, I go this way for most all of my cranking needs. Old school perhaps but if it's not broke, don't fix it. Callcutta 200D is such a powerhouse and seriously underrated reel. I think the $$ and the 'weight' scare folks off. But if you are looking for a product that will get the job done and last . . . . This one's like fishing with a finely tuned Tank. A-Jay

  9. Been wearing Columbia PFG Blood n' Guts for a while Including several trips south of the border where is usually freaking roasting. Very light weight, comfortable, breathable and durable - They work well for me . . . https://www.columbia.com/p/mens-pfg-blood-n-guts-pants-1576951.html?dwvar_1576951_color=160&pos=8 A-Jay
  10. It is fun, truth be told. But gets old & cold doing it when it's well below zero & super windy. And you can't tell, but I'm rocking out under that bomber hat (ear buds). I believe that day it was a Led Zeppelin Medley. #dazedandconfused A-Jay
  11. Very Nice ~ One of The Best I've seen and I'm betting the pics here don't really do it justice. Congrats again. A-Jay
  12. We often need to excavate paths back & forth to the kennel and most everywhere we need to get. In the long run it saves a ton of time, otherwise it seems to take forever getting around back there. Used to shovel it by hand until we got a machine that could handle the load. Now it's a routinely deal. A-Jay
  13. Well I wanted to give the gift of life, so I tried donating blood. Never Again ! Too many stupid questions. Whose blood is it ? Where did it come from ? Why is it in a bucket ? A-Jay

  18. This subject matter recent surfaced again elsewhere which reminded me to do sort of a 'follow up' or 'up date'. So after three season of doing this - I still like it and will continue to do it. The update aspect revolves around the bands 'life span', if you will. In my rig, it's just about two full season. Meaning the baits that were secured in this manner and then sat unused for the duration, the bands eventually deteriorated & failed. There was NO rubber melting or damaging of baits, the bands simply fell off. As a result, some of the baits were re-banded and others were re-homed. Apparently not used much. So there ya go. A-Jay
  19. Thanks ~ This should help A-Jay
  20. No way to tell from a pic but they're not tight, no need really. The 'issue' that this eliminates (tangle mess of baits) IMO is worth the few seconds required. Considering the sheer number of treble hook covers required, the bands are the way to go for me. YMMV A-Jay
  21. Look closely at the jerkbaits in this box and you'll see that I use small rubber bands to bind the trebles together. Works wonders to keep the baits from turning into that mess of a cluster that happenes when they are not used. I do this to EVERY bait and have been for a couple of seasons now. My Lippless baits really benefit from this. When I pull out ONE bait - that's all I get. A-Jay
  22. I am a big fan of Plano's Stowaway Slim line of boxes and use at least two different versions of it. (3700/3701) Prefer it for space saving footprint and whenever I want to store baits individually and /or only in 'one layer' per compartment. As you mentioned, seems a solid choice for jerkbaits. 23. Happy Holidays to you & yours Stay Safe ? A-Jay
