  1. The swim Senko was first favorite Vibrating Jig trailer; especially early season. Since the introduction of the Zako, I hardly use them any more. A-Jay
  2. Be hurling these around this morning ~ #chunkandwind A-Jay

I video my fishing with assorted GoPros but it's all while in a canoe or boat. I do not like or use either the chest or head mounted view. I also video from other varoius locals including my truck. Again the camera is mounted not worn. IMO, having the camera set some distance away tells more of the story. Here's some of it You may need to just shoot some video and see how it comes out. Since I started, the cameras are always running and I have captured some fantastic life long memories. Good Luck A-Jay

  6. The local brown bass population often prefers a semi-clear bait with a splash of color . . . A-Jay

  8. Further investigation has learned that witnesses heard him yelling "Hold My Beer !" But he was alone . . . . . . A-Jay
  9. Thanks. Yes it's the biggest MI and the PB smallie. A-Jay
  10. No Sir. It's a Strike King Blade Minnow. Nice thin profile and doesn't interfere with the baits ability to track straight. A-Jay and I'm going to apologize in advance but - this was fun . . .
  11. I think he'a asking a lot from his keel guard. A-Jay
  12. Late summer and early fall (like right now) I throw a spinnerbait a ton. Haven't tried them all and I'm betting several are productive But I like a few different ones and most of that is driven by how I plan on fishing it. For high and fast - the SK Burner gets the nod. For a big profile with a lot of flash, a Biovex Stangun DW (top pic)is my choice (got my PB smallie on one) For most everything in between the Megastrike Strikeback bait produces well. (bottom pic) Finally, at the high end of the price range, the Megabass V9 is rapidly earning a permanent spot in my rotation. A-Jay
  13. The Umbrella Rig is one of my top producers for late summer and fall. In northern MI, the Big Brown Bass hammer the thing. I use all 1/8 oz heads. A-Jay

  16. My skirt making formula for swim jigs can perhaps best be descibed as sort of match the hatch but also hope that the finished product is just 'a little off'. #differentbydesign A-Jay
  17. Hello from up in Otsego County and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  18. The lakes I fish (all north of Rt 72) are definitely cooling off. Weeds are starting to die back as well. Seems much of the local brown bass population is still is that tricky transition stage. Shorter days and more cool nights should speed that fall bite along soon enough though. And who's not a fan of that ? A-Jay

  20. Some of my own limited jerkbait fishing success where I'm routinely targeting Michigan Brown bass can be attributed to this . . . A-Jay
