  1. I think Brent was getting lonely. So now he has Seth to keep him company. A-Jay
  2. The swimming action on that thing looks crazy cool. I'd probably be using it with wire . . . Just say'in. A-Jay

  5. Thank you ~ As an amazon user (and abuser), I'm all over it. I'll admit that it is pretty tempting to try and mix up a 'home made' version. Just to save a little $$$ A-Jay
  6. Half Heimers - Please know I'd never make light of a serious condition, but that right there . . . IS FUNNY ! I just read your response to my wife and she laughed Right Out Loud A-Jay

  10. If you plan on only fishing for bass (and you're not getting a ton of muskie interest) and you can live with the occasional bite off, you may not need wire. If there are more than 'a few' toothy dudes around and you want to increase your chances of landing a big Tiger should you hook one - then a 14 inch or so trace of wire can help with that. I'm routinely fishing Toothy critter central - so AFW Surflon Micro Supreme is a routine aspect of my terminal tackle Don't always get bit off when I don't use it but I never do when I do. A-Jay
  11. Nice Smallies ~ Congrats A-Jay
  12. I recently started using Boat Bling's Hot Sauce - Removes and prevents water spotting - for real. Contains a percentage of white vinegar - so you'll get familiar smell, but it fades quickly. Try it, I bet you'll like it - A Lot. I certainly do A-Jay
  13. @Frisbie385 - I had not heard of this product prior to your post after which I went on line to check it out. Reviews were favorable so I purchased a "trial" 32 oz bottle to check it out. My black hull is a bit of a water spot magnet - the only thing that actually cleans them off is white vinegar but that does nothing to protect the paint or prevent more spots. Well, I've used the Hot Sauce immediately after every trip since receiving it (5 trips) all I can say is WOW ! This stuff is the real deal - and the more I use it the less spots I get - Huge Win. Thank You for posting this. And for others reading this - if you are a regular hull cleaner and like a clean & nice looking rig - do yourself a huge solid and check out Boat Bling Hot Sauce. As this most effective product does contain some white vinegar, you will undoubtedly recognize that smell; but it fades quickly. A-Jay

  18. I have no strong feelings one way or the other - anglers have been catching spawning bass for a long time. Sometimes they are released, some times they are not. Fisheries around the country seem to be as strong as ever. Would they be better if this didn't go on ? Hard to say. As for the legality of using the "flogger" in a tournament - eh. An angler still needs to know where to start looking and even them it seems time consuming. Interesting that many organizations have banned the umbrella rig but this is OK though. I think I may get one; should make for some killer "flogger to catch" Go Pro Video. A-Jay

  21. Me too - At this point - this is how I 'plan' my weekend. A-Jay For some as of yet unexplained reason, seems none of this has crept into my fishing - yet. Or perhaps it has and I just don't know it. A-Jay
