  1. First, I'd like to preface this response by stating that the storage on my particular boat is "ample". Beyond the legal requirements (PFD's, Flares, etc) I also carry the following miscellaneous items : Assorted tools - Though effecting repairs on the water is pretty hard, I still carry a small tool box. I'd encourage one to MATCH these (size & type wise) to the hardware you're apt to need it for. No sense having a box or bag of items that are either too large or small or the wrong type to effectively use. DFI 2-Cycle Outboard Oil, Sta-Bil 360 & Gas Treatment, funnel, clean rags, spare trolling motor prop & several shear pins, a Leatherman, small cleaning kit (with items / products to safely clean Humminbird Screens, Dash windscreens, seats, & spot clean carpet), Compass, Small Mirror, Zip ties, Electrical tape, 2 flashlights, telescoping magnetic wand, Dude Wipes, Box cutter, Survival knife (mounted on gunwale out of the way but still available for quick access), 8 inch high leverage mini bolt cutters (strong enough to cut the heaviest gauge hook wire I use with one hand), First aid kit (a real one not the cheapest one), bug spray, sun screen, several extra lines including a long oversized line for towing, a box anchor with anchor line, bag of rain & foul weather gear, bag with a seasonal change of clothes & a towel, & a Save Phace mask (this is where I get to be Spider-Man). 4. MNF ~ Entertaining first half. I would also like to add that much of Mr. Dilfer's Football analysis is drivel. A-Jay

  9. I will Tom - Probably should have done it already. During a "warm water period" I'll do a video of an in water re-entry & post it. Should be interesting. Fortunately, I'm still in at least average physical condition for my age so we'll see how it goes. On the other hand, my Metal condition has been in question for some time now . . . . A-Jay

  14. Man ~ I was holding out for the new model (spinner) as I'm not a fan of the EVA knob but that Price is not making it easy. Doesn't look like I could switch out the handles either - size appear different. Growing . . . . .Weak . . . Must . . . .resist . . . . . . . . . A-Jay
  15. Got Wood ? A-Jay
  16. Good info here ~ when it's all said & done, I prefer braid & a leader (mono usually) on Spinning gear for jerkbaits. A-Jay
  17. If that was the 18 man Battle Royal match ~ I was there too. My fishing buddy at the time was a Die Hard WWF fan and begged me to go with him. He was pretty high on Bruno Sammartino. It was the only event of it's kind I've ever been to and was a little crazy. The Crowd was Nutz ! ** EDIT ** I stand corrected - this is the card I was at. WWF @ Boston, MA - Boston Garden - October 9, 1982 (15,100) Baron Mikel Scicluna defeated Mac Rivera Curt Hennig defeated Mr. X Andre the Giant won a battle royal; other participants included: Curt Hennig, Charlie Fulton, Chief Jay Strongbow, Jules Strongbow, Steve Travis, Mr. Fuji, Mr. Saito, Tony Garea, Salvatore Bellomo, Pete Sanchez, Mr. X, the Masked Marvel, Mac Rivera, WWF IC Champion Pedro Morales, and Swede Hanson WWF IC Champion Pedro Morales defeated Charlie Fulton Superstar Billy Graham defeated Ivan Putski via count-out WWF Tag Team Champion Mr. Fuji defeated Pete Sanchez WWF World Champion Bob Backlund defeated Buddy Rose WWF Tag Team Champion Mr. Saito defeated Frank Williams Andre the Giant defeated Swede Hanson Tony Garea defeated the White Angel A-Jay

  19. I used to patrol that EEZ line - Some anglers (Recreational & Commercial) are all about straddling "The Line". With the accuracy of today's electronics, it's hard for a potential offender to convince a Marine LEO there was any question as to a boat's exact position - inside or out. This is serious business and since the Exclusive Economic Zone or EEZ is outside of state waters - these become Federal Offenses. Consequences for violations are no joke - especially for commercial / charter Captains - here's an example from a few years back. https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/five-virginia-charter-fishing-boat-captains-sentenced-lacey-act-violations If the anglers in the OP's did in fact violate the laws here - losing the WR may be the least of their concerns A-Jay
