  2. Sweet Bass ~ Great way to start the new year. And you're right, that Smile has "PB" written All Over It ! Congrats to Hez Jr. A-Jay
  3. How much do you gain with the better equipment ? I'd like to respond with a question of my own ~ How much do you loose with worse equipment ? May not matter as long as the angler knows where, why, when & how to use it. A-Jay
  4. 6 lbs ~ Zoom Magnum Trick Worm ~ A-Jay
  5. Tom Brady now has the best touchdown to interception ratio for a single season in NFL history. Man is this guy lucky or what ? It's a Happy New Year so far .. .. .. .. .. A-Jay
  6. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  7. I'm planning to continue to not act my age (without completely ignoring it). Commit to really listening not just hearing. Remember to get more sleep. A-Jay
  8. Super Nice Trout ~ What a great was to end the year .. .. .. .. .. Congrats A-Jay
  9. I have a good bit, but I'll defend my somewhat silly admission by saying that most (though not all) consists of bags of assorted discontinued high quality soft baits as well as a certain unopen carton shipped from Ebay that may or may not contain 4 lines of the most sought after discontinued hard baits a bass head could ever hope to get his grubby little paws on .. .. .. .. .. .. .. Routinely they are kept in an undisclosed location - even to me, Securities tight, so I have to blindfold myself to locate and fish them. Granna's all about it too , , , and there is serious consequences if you lose one of these most highly covered works of bass catching genius .. .. .. .. .. A Tazer may be too good for you, Things are getting a little weird all up in here . . . . . . A-Jay

  12. Hello from up in Otsego County and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  13. One doesn't lose integrity ~ it's given away. Good Values should be taught, learned & reinforced at home, not a fishing tournament. Disagreement is not disrespect. If & when my beliefs are not in line with a certain affiliation, separating myself from it seems appropriate. A-Jay
  14. Nice Bass ~ PB's are Always a total Blast Congrats A-Jay
  15. X2 ~ Perhaps offer it as "a Kit - Some Assembly Required" (but without instructions). A-Jay
  16. Hello Chris and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  17. If you can get a hold of one, Read Buck Perry's SpoonPlugging book - The presentation at first appears dated but if you ingest the info, especially with regards to his ideas on structure and how bass use it, with your own waters in mind, you may find it easy to digest and quite tasty. It's the first writing of it's kind detailing Structure that I know of and easily one of the best, IMO. A-Jay
  18. Hello Keith and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  19. First - I've not used any of these hooks. The eye ball assessment seems to indicate as a drop shot hook it may have some benefits but the wire looks a little thick for my liking though admittedly it's tough to tell from just a picture. However, for any other soft plastic presentation, the Lack of hook gap makes me nervous. Previous models I've tried, that had little to no gap, have failed miserably. That space in needed to offer the plastic a place to go - and be clear for an effective hook set. This one is advertised to solve a problem that currently - I do not have. A-Jay
  20. Like @OkobojiEagle I find wind & spinnerbaits go together nicely. However, where you throw may be more important than what you throw. A-Jay
  21. So Does He . . . . . Cool Pic A-Jay
  22. No doubt a daytime surface bite is a ton of fun. But for me, the allure of dragging a beefy jig around deep structure At Night, is strong. And feeling that sharp and sudden Thump of a bait stopping strike, - the brief second right before setting the hook, the anxious anticipation of feeling the rod load up & the weight of a stout bass - is just about the top of the list for me. 23. Hello from up in Otsego County and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  24. Certainly no apology necessary Doug, there may be a chance that the largest bass in your local population appreciate that. Also ~ I don't have any Megabass baits either - maybe the BR Santa will send me one next year BTW ~ Happy Birthday ! ! A-Jay
  25. I don't ~ and for the most part - I do, But it's more like mid December to mid-March. A-Jay
