Hello Bob and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  3. You may be able to find a prop that might get you 0.1 or 0.2 mph out of that 30lb thrust TM, but why ? That unit isn't really going to be able to give you much more than that unless it's mounted on a skateboard. A-Jay
  4. Sort of ~ If Swamp Donkey, Tank, Slaunch, Pig Money, Mogan & Grande are on that list, then my answer is Yes. A-Jay
  5. The most challenging aspect I find about fishing revolves around all the correct decisions & successful execution it takes to get a strike. The most fun and exciting part of it is ~ actually getting one. A-Jay
  6. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ That LTB TBS610MLXF drop shot & finesse rod has been on my radar as well. Very pleased with the others from this line, no reason not to expect the same. A-Jay
  7. Nice Stick but Steelhead tackle is usually going to be a little under rated for most full size swim bait applications. If the model number on it is LX 86 MHC - It's rated for 1/4 – 1 oz lures & 10 – 20 line. Might work. A-Jay
  8. I recommend when sleeping with lures - It really pays to Go Weedless . . . Besides didn't the Senko lover season close last week ? Poacher A-Jay
  9. Try a Reaction Innovations Little Dipper. Both the Dirty Sanchez & Watermelon Green Pumpkin colors have worked well for me with that Bluegill pattern. A-Jay
  10. I'll admit to dabbling in the world of fly fishing a few times a season. My amateur version of it anyway. It's a routine I've gone through the last several years. It starts with the a big mayfly hatch early summer (great Smallie action), then goes right into small topwater bugs for Fat Bluegills, (good Eatin") and then there always a few trips for shallow topwater largemouth ~ haven't done what I always hope for in that arean just yet but I'm gonna keep waving that wand around on & off til I do. I am however getting the hang of pike on streamers though - just hammer handles & snot rockets so far but it's fun. The size will come up . . .eventually. At least that's what I keep telling myself. 11. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Sorry I can't help with the Onix setup but Good Luck anyway. You'll figure it out. A-Jay
  12. Glad to hear that works for you. I would not do it nor recommend it. 15. I'm not an HVAC Guy ~ But it could be that the Gonkulator's on the fritz . . . . . Or you may need to bump it up to 1.21 Gigawatts . . . Good Luck A-Jay

  18. Yes ~ I have several extra spools. Having same Brand & model - (even with different gear ratios) helps and allows for adaptation to just about anything. This is also a very useful & space saving tactic when traveling (commercial or international air). Various types of line in assorted test can be easily changed out for immediate usage. A-Jay
  19. Although this could easily go into the Physics thread - here's the Anatomy of a wave. http://www.physicsclassroom.com/Class/waves/u10l2a.cfm And regardless of the size dingy, canoe, kayak, row boat, skiff, cutter or ship you're on ~ If you're looking up at the water coming at you - that's usually a Bad Thing . . . . A-Jay
  20. Been There ~ Done That. Usually takes the Top water bite out of play. A-Jay
