  1. Welcome!!!
  2. When looking for a boatalways make sure you know what you want prior to purchasing it. When I first went to look at boats I wasn't sure what I wanted either. I drove probably 1500 miles looking at different boats from private seller to boat dealer. After I had looked at about every type of boat out there, I finally decided which boat I wanted and the price that I wanted to spend. I waited about 2 weeks and a buddy of mine called me to tell me that there was the boat that I wanted about 5 miles away. So I went and looked at it and sure enough it was exactly what I wanted. The guy was an old guy and he trusted me to take it and test drive it without him. So I took it out test drove it (and fished in it all day) and when I came back to the owner of the boat I had the cash in hand. Sometimes the best deals are right near by but then again some other deals you may have to travel to.
  3. why??? there is nothing better!!!
  4. The way I pick apart the weedy areas of my favorite river is to start the day throwing a rage tail frog. If I start get some blow ups but no hook-ups I will have a senko or a shaky head rigged up ready to grab at a moments notice. As soon as I miss one I will throw the senko/shaky head right at the exact spot I got the blow up. Once I pull one fish out of an area I will mark that spot and continue to pick it apart with a wacky rigged senko, jig or shaky head. Most of the time, you will find a bass in the grass there are many more to be caught. Once you run out of fish start all over again.
  5. That was great!!! ;D
  6. U need one of these.... http://www.monsterguide.net/how-to-build-a-garage.jpg ;D ;D ;D ;D
  7. I would try.... It will never hurt to broaden your horizons, I have several large swimbaits, they are quite expensive but they are overall worth the catch. If you don't want to go with this route try a 12" powerworm or a rage tail anaconda.
  8. Baron nailed this one on the head. I fish a river and there are several channels running though with deep areas from 6-20'. On each side of the river there are flats but some are way more productive then others. I tend to fish beds on flats. They are easy to find when there is grass. Just look for clearer areas in the grass and especially focus on the holes in the grass. The river that I fish can be very muddy all the time but around the grass it is the cleanest and clearest water, I can see all the way to the bottom and pretty much pick the fish I want to catch. It you are fishing around any type of duck blinds these places are key for me in the spring time. Duck blinds on flats tend to have alot of fish around them. The seagulls and other birds pick up oysters and other shell fish and drop them on the blinds to crack the shells. If there is not any grass or a small amount of grass growth there I will throw a jerkbait, swimbait or a crank bait and slam fish all day long.
  9. This sounds like it is going to be a really fun time. Its too bad money issues have me in such a bind. Hopefully next year will be the year that I can make it.

  12. HAHAHAHA We used to do that to my grandfather everytime we would go out to eat. He finally got smart and before the whole family would show up to eat he would talk to the waitresses and tell them we are going to that. He would then turn it around on us and pick a different one of the grandkids each time. It was funny!!!
  13. Your talkin' about changing it from 25,000 (cash) to 100,000 (cash) for a guy that likes rubbing poo on things. They could have lowered it, and he'd still be in jail. b HAHAHA Yea no joke.... Since you know the whole 10% thing how many times have you had to contact the local bondsman??? hahaha
  14. The Pic of your back yard is not working correctly but I would recommend building a privacy fence. That will help you keep your stuff longer(no one will see it and know that you have it, until you use it) As for driving on the grass I would put some gravel down, You never know how the yard drains when it rains plus it would help your tires from dryrotting. 8-)
  15. I bought the Meguiar's Oxidation Wax.... http://www.boatersland.com/megm4965.html It worked great for me. When you get it buffed just like you want it. Go get you some BTS and use that everytime you pull the boat out of the water before you leave. Its great!!!!
