I know there are going to be more expos in Virginia and I'm just wondering when. There is supposed to be one in Fredericksburg and there is supposed to be one at the Dulles Expo Center. Just let me know when andwhere they are going to be.

I didn't get to meet any of you guys but I was there and I enjoyed the show. KVD was good but now I just need to learn to cast like he does! All in all I had a good time.

I know I don't live that far north but highs around here these last few days were in the 20's. I cannot wait until it gets at least 50 so I can start some new techniques. If I catch a fish or not oh well at least I'll be back out on the water.

Well I wanted to post something up about my first outing this year and unfortunately it started bad but it turned out ok. Building up to this outing me and my tournament partner have been working on our boat to get them ready to fish. Well we have probably put about 20-30 hours of work into each boat. Well this morning about 8am we were finishing up on my boat getting all the tackle in my boat and hooking up. Once the boat was hooked to the truck I started to pullit out of my garage and that is when my day went from good to bad. While pulling the boat out of the garage I somehow drug my buddy's cover to his boat and ripped a big hole in it. Then on the way down the road my truck started acting funny. I thought my turbo was going out of my truck so I called some friends and they told me that they thought it was my turbo as well. So despite the thought of having my truck break down I continued to the river. I finally made it to the river and I was able to luanch the boat. The main reason we were going out today was just to test the boat out and make sure it was running properly. Wel the boat came off the trailer no problem and I turned the key.... and wow finally something was going right for me. The boat fired right up! I let it idle for about 5 mins before I took off. We got out onto our favorite beginning spot and nothing... We went all around but we couldn't find the hungry fish. We tried alot of different spots but the water temp was around 38 degrees. Still nothing Despite the truck problems, ripped cover and no fish all in all I feel like the day equaled out especially since the boat is running good.

Wayne I have a quick question for you. I emailed a trolling motor company looking for a part but they haven't gotten back to me yet and that was over 2 weeks ago. Do you know of anyone off the top of your head that I could email that will actually respond, I'm not sure what the part is but it is an older TM and the peice I need is the peice that helps guide the motor itself over the bow and onto the bracket.

For your 1st question I'm not sure I can help. 2. Id say with the market now, it will be very expensive to put a new one on your boat. I would pull it apart and try to figure it out first. Thats just what I would do, for one I'm broke and can't afford much and 2 I'm a decent handyman. ;D

Well all I can say is I hope the money is worth it, depending on the weather I may be leaving reviews on this bait by Tuesday night. But of course the one day I may actually be able to go fishing, its supposed to be rainy and nasty. But who knows maybe we will get lucky.
