  1. I have a 1995 Nitro boat as well, Not trying to be rude at all... but have you thought of taking care of your boat? The seats are a main part of your boat, Attached is a pic of my seat, note they are well taken care of. I have not had any problems with my seats at all. But since your seats are already tore up I would suggest either putting the boat in a garage or purchasing a cover. Once you get your new seat I would always spray anti- mildew spray on them and always keep them clean. I use the BPS mildew stain remover and Vinyl protectant spray http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_36023_225004000_225000000_225004000_225-4-0 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_39753____SearchResults I have also attached a pic of my boat seats just to show you how well this product works when used properly.
  2. That was my mistake, sorry its up there now. Check the link. :-[
  3. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=OXP1ASZNAVYTDLAQBBJSCNNMCAEFIIWE?id=0048138122289a&type=product&cmCat=froogle&cm_ven=data_feed&cm_cat=froogle&cm_pla=0290102&cm_ite=0048138122289a&_requestid=31649 I was recently at GREENTOP in Richmond, VA and I saw a video on this bait. So I searched until I found it and I purchased it. I like the way it looked on the video but then again there are a lot of baits out there that have good videos, but don't work so well. I was wondering what everyone's input was on this bait. I hope I didn't waste my money but then again I always waste some money on something hahaha. ;D
  4. When I find situations like this I like to keep the boat moving around everywhere. The day is still fun none the less but just the thought of moving around to a different part of the lake and trying to catch a bigger fish. But I'm glad you put the part in there about it not being a tournament because when there is a tournament I can't find a lot of fish. ;D ;D ;D
  5. This is going to be difficult... hahahaha
  6. Count me in I will be starting to fish on Tuesday. So let me know when I can get the lure. What is the lure going to be??
  7. Yea I have already gone over all of my tackle about 15 times now. But everytime I find more stuff that I want to fix. HAHAHA
  8. That is a cool video!!
  9. X 100!!! He ruined himself by that switch
  10. Thank You for all the replies... I hate the Doctor's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >
  11. Well.... HAHA The bait making is on hold now, I found out it costs a lot of money to start. So I am mainly focusing my time into making my boat shine pretty good and making sure all the tackle I already own is ready to use. I will be heading out on Tuesday to test my boat, I will be bringing some tackle with me but I doubt I will fish much. I want to test my motor and figure out if my boat will last until I get some money to put my boat in the shop. I know I maight be pushing it but oh well. Another buddy of mine has his boat that I can use while mine is broke. HAHA
  12. Let me know how you do. 8-)
  13. I prefer to use Quantum's Hot Sauce It has worked great for me in the past and all of my reels are still in fantastic shape.
  14. I don't use braid on any of my spinning reels. If you are going to use braid on a baitcaster I would suggest to you to add about 20 yards or so of mono to the spool prior to putting the braid on the spool. As fo Braid vs Mono... It is hard to determine which one is better. You need to figure out where you will be fishing, what you will be using and the structure you are fishing. If I am fishing a jig, or around heavy structure or throwing a frog I will use braid. I do not like stretch at all in my line when fishing either of the listed ways. I like mono on other topwater, around light cover and open water. I prefer mono in different bodies of water as well. Where I live we have several small lake and 1 big lake, and I fish one river. On the river I mainly fish braid, but on the lakes I mainly fish mono. So it is mainly up to your personal preference. I'm surprised that you didn't ask about Flouro as well. Just in case you are wondering: I fish mono on deep diving cranks, worms with no weights, or small weights, any type of crankbait, and spinnerbaits. But I mainy use Flouro on the lakes as well, Like I said earlier it is all on your personal preference.
  15. Welcome!!! Glad to have you!
  16. I have always used 17# mono for any type of swimbaits, now my swimbaits don't compare to LBH's but they are still considered a swimbait.
  17. I like the way you deal.... when I go to buy another boat, are you gonna come up here and get a a great deal??? HAHAHA ;D ;D ;D ;D
  18. With a motor that old I'm not sure what to tell you about the over heating part but here are some answers for you: #1. The starter: check the starter ring itself, maybe the splines have been broken and you may need a new ring. #2. The overheating issue: Check your water pump on the motor, your boat may not be circulating water into your motor. water circulating into a motor is like a fan for a motor to cool it down. 8-)
  19. ive had 2 nitros and theyve been great boats. ive been to BPS 2 times and still cant figure that "cave" part out. At least I'm not the only one to still enjoy a good quality boat. I didn't mean to get all defensive but I like Nitro boats.... hense my username. ;D ;D ;D

  21. Well first off Welcome to the forums, and.... sorry about the traffic up there in DC. But that is how it is, you should have found you a place in the country, there are a lot more people that fish out in the country then there are in the city. I fish the Potomac and that place is a lot of fun, but it also gives off a big headache if you're not careful. But if you are ever down my way let me know I will take you out if I'm off.
