  2. Thanks for that site. But I still don't get how you spin the lure around . Maybe I am alittle slow or I missed something. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
  3. How do you do this SD jam knot? Is there any pictures of this knot anywhere? :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/
  4. No, the new one in Waukesha!
  5. Check it out= allterraintackle.com :) ;D 8-) :-? :
  6. I went back to Gander today and the jigs are called Grassmaster Jigs and are made by All-Terrain Tackle in Minn. They also make a swim jig. Nice colors and up to 1 1/2 oz. They are $ 3.99 each.
  7. The one thing I don't like about these jigs is, when to have to retie that knot it is a pain in the butt. :'(
  8. RR, Go to northamericanfisherman, they have what they call there knot wars! Cool site, they test all the knots to see at what lb. they break. :'(
  9. I too would go with the Astro hands down! But check the motors out and make sure that they are good to go. 8-)
  10. I too like the Zoom OL'Monster in Junebug for night fishing, greenpumkin, pumkinseed, black, grape. And also Zoom Dead Ringers.I may have to try them Ripper worms!
  11. I want to buy a flippin and pitchin stick this weekend. I will use it for jigs from 3/8 oz to 1 oz+, and what tip should I look for? A H action or MH action, do I look for a fast tip or XF tip? I am new to this kind of fishing.
  12. If you can wait to the end of Feb. Bass Pro has there Spring Classic at all the stores and you can get a deal then because they have alot of sales at that time! :)
  13. No, I don't think it would matter! But the reel will hold alot less line on the spool at 8 lb. If it holds 115 yds at 6 lb. line, at 8 lb. it would hold about 90 to 100 yds!
  14. I was at Gander the other day and I saw some new jigs called the Scott Martain Jig. Boy they look real nice, with cool colors. They had them from 3/8 oz. to 1 1/2 oz. and they were $ 2.99 or $3.99. Has anyone seen them or better yet fished them?
  15. Please carry all the colors in the Netbait Paca Craws! : 8-)
  16. Good rods, but just wait for the Classic (end of Feb. ) they always go on sale!
  17. I was at Gander today and I was looking for a flippin rod and I came across the Gander brand! I was looking at a 7'6" MH for $59.00. Have any of you fished the Gander rods and what do you think of them?
  18. I think I will go to Fluorocarbon line for pitchin and flippin jigs! So what kind of fluorocarbon do you guys use and what pound test? Thanks for any info you can offer. :)
  19. Sufix and then Power Pro! 8-)
  20. Just would like to know what size line you use for jigs. Do you use the same size for pitchin and flippin and for deep weed lines?
  21. Mike Bat, Thanks for the info and the sweet photo's, Can't wait to go froggin. 8-)
  22. Tha Classic is all the stores on the same dates this year!!! This is how it works= You bring in a reel and you get a rebate for a reel that you buy.It depends on how much the reel costs and how much the rebate will be. You can buy any reel and the rebate will go toward that reel. The rebate is run by Bass Pro not Shimano or Daiwa, so you would get a rebate on any Shimano or Daiwa or any reel. If you bring in 3 reels and buy 3 reels you get 3 rebates! Now if you bring in 3 reels and buy only one reel you get one rebate not 3.
  23. You get a rebate for each reel you bring in. If bring in 3 you get a rebate on 3 reels that you buy.
  24. What size line are you guys using?
