TableRock Lake
This is a good lake to fish at night! I agree with RW about getting a guide Try, Pete Wenners. You can get into fish on the banks in early spring to early summer, pre spawn to post spawn. And then they go deep. I have fished the Rock for over 10 years, and it is a great bass lake. Pere Wenners had a guy on a guide trip last year and the guy caught a 9 1/2 or 10 lber. You can see the bass on Pete's web site. 8-)

Table Rock Lake Guides?
Give this guy a call= Pete Wenners 1-888-214-1767 and tell him Dan from Wisconsin told you to call him. I have fished with Pete many times and he is one of the better guides if not the best. I have fished with many guides on Table Rock and I only go back to Pete. He knows the lake, and he is a great guy. Dan

Top Nightime Lures
I guide at night, and I like to fish the black jitterbug,BIG worms 8in. to 12 in. jigs, brush hogs,Paca Craws, tubes, senko's, flukes,Big spinnerbaits. But when I night fish, I fish for big bass not numbers. And deep water is where it is at. Or deep docks, but it has to have deep water nearby.

Which line to choose and why?
Try the Gamma, and you will never go back!

Gamma Line!
I am not trying to be a punk, but maybe you put it on wrong.I use it on spinning and bait casters with no problem. I ues 8 or 10 on spinning and 10 to 20 on my bait caster. It to me is a very strong line with little or no memory. You could have a kink in your line that it broke. I always check my line for kinks or cuts.
-
Gamma Line!
I tryed this Gamma line this year for the first time and I will change over to all Gamma line from now on! This line is the best line I have ever used, hands down. And I did buy the Gamma Flor.carbon and it is a bit $$$$ but a great line. Just my two cents worth.

NetBait Paca Toad?
Has anyone tryed the new Paca Toad ? It looks good, Just wondering if any of you have fished it yet?
-
simple jig question
It depends on the color of the water! If it is clear I would fish greens or browns and die the claws red. If the water is stained I would go with dark colors black/blue woul;d be good.

Preferred Line for Crankbaits
You want to fish cranks on mono. line, you want a line that has some give.

detecting softbait strikes
Playmarker is wright on, most of my bigger bass that I have caught, felt like a weed or that I was hung on a rock. If you are not sure just set the hook! Don't get in a pulling contest because the bass wins. It does't cost you much to set the hook if you are not sure. It is the only way to learn, and once you poke your first, you well get better and better. And again watch your line at all times. One of the coolest things is when you are not sure and you set the hook and then you think darn a snag, and then you feel her head shake
