  1. Ditto, Not playing for me too. :'( :-/ :-? > > > >
  2. Ditto, there are ALOT of better reels around than that for the Money= like a Pflueger President,Shimano Symetre,Daiwa Exceler, just to name a few.
  3. I have kept logs of my night trips for about 8 years.I don't anymore but I found that 80% of toads came from 11pm to sunup with the best times from 1am to 5 am.and in water not less than 10 ft. I don't pound banks up here, I fish from 10ft. 30 ft.deep. I took two guys out last Aug. we had 17 fish in the boat and 15 of them where 3lbs to 61/2 lbs. now that is a very good night, that does not happen every night.
  4. I fish at night from Spring to late Fall other than fishing Tournaments. And I guide at night also. I have done two articles for waters & Woods Magazine on night time bass fishing and many seminars at BPS,Gander, Sportsma's Warehouse!I have been working with lure Companys for many years. Now I am not ringing my own bell but I have found out some real cool stuff about night fish and boating a bass of your life time! If you want a toad, then try night bassin. Last year was my best ever and there are alot of reasons for that. So if I can help anyone just ask! The main reason I posted this is I just would like to know how many of you are in love with night bassin?
  5. I was a Rep. for Mad Man Lures a few years back and they had two kinds of a craw. One was a craw tube and a craw worm and both had small pincers. I do still have many bags of them. Not sure that I want to part with them! They are small and they look so real!
  6. All I can say is just try some Netbait Paca Craws and buy some 3/0 EWG hooks and fish them on a T-rig and hold on!! I started to fish them last year and I boated MORE & BIGGER bass than on any other tube craw that I ever used in the past. IT'S ALIVE, IT's ALIVE ;D :
  7. eyedabassman replied to zelmo's topic in Fishing Tackle
I too use them they can be a pain but maybe I am just getting too old!
  8. I agree with this, don't spend alot for a rod for spinnerbaits. You can get some good rods at Bass Pro or anywhere for that matter. As for the reel I would go with the Citica 100 also, great reel and they have a great rebate on them. Check out Delo's web site, he is a sponsor here.
  9. Ditto for me too, but I Like the Gamma lines too but the Sufix is on some of my reels too, the Sufix and the Gamma are my two best lines that I use.
  10. I don't think there are any! It comes down to what you like to fish with. One thing is, you want a slow speed reel like a 4-7-1 and I think most baitcasters are high speed but I am sure someone makes a slow baitcaster.
  11. Tucson, I don't think this lure is just for Pads or weeds. I know on lakes like Table Rock Lake in MO. there are no weeds in at all, just rock and wood and they do real well fishing spoons so I would think that the silver minnow would work in your waters too. Don't give up on a great lure!!!!!!!!! :-?
  12. Thanks T-Rig for the info good site.
  13. Do any of you know who has them beside Tackle Wharehouse?
  14. I know how you feel, you have hard water too? You said TT did a review on it, what is TT? And where can I read this review?
  15. Thanks for the info I will take a look at them.
  16. As the leader I use a Fluorocarbon line in 8 lb. test, as for the knot I like the palmar knot.
  17. Has anyone seen this new topwater bait? Or better yet has anyone fished it? It sure looks cool, alittle high on the $ 16+ .
  18. Bass Pro but, they kill you shipping on small orders! > :( :-/ :'( :'( :'( But I found Delos and Tackle Warehouse now. ;D 8-) : :-*
  19. Good answer, maybe that is the way to go!!!!!!! 8-)
  20. I would like to know if anyone still fish this lure? With all the high tech lures out there is this a lost lure in our tackle boxes? I still use it but not as much as I did in the past. I still put a pork trailer on or a grub. If you still use it, where do you fish it and what trailers do you use? Maybe I will learn something new and fish it more this year!
  21. I like to try lines that I never did use to see what the pro's and con's of each line. Now last year I used = Sufix Braid= great stuff that's the Braid for me! Sufix Elite=I did like it,not alot of memory, and strong.Used it on my cranks. Sufix Siege= Again good line, low memory, strong. Yo-Zur Ultra Soft= Real nice line for spinning reels flows of spool nice with low memory and a strong line fot # 6 & 8 # line. Trilene Big Game= Has more memory than the others but, I like it for spinnerbaits, topwater, jerk baits, cranks. Gamma Copolymer=This line is by far the best line that I have ever used, Very low memory and Very strong. I used it on my spinning and bait caster reels with NO problems, I can't say enough good things about this line. Gamma Flouorocarbon= Very good but, it just costs too much but, then again you get what you pay for! This year I will try the Vicious Ultimate line. But 80% of my reels will have Gamma thats how much I do like it! I know that there are alot of good lines out there and everyone has there lines that they like. I just wanted to put my 3 cents worth in. Are there ant more Gamma people out there?
  22. This is the way to go hands down!!!!!!!!!!
