  1. The falcon box holds med to large jigs great ( 1/4,3/8,1/2,3/4,1/0 ). But for the small jigs, they move around in there slot, they do not fit real well. But I still like it. :
  2. I too ordered from Brad and he is a class act! He went out of his way to get what I wanted. Thanks again Brad Dan 8-)
  3. As for the Fat Iks's Gander has them and I think Sportsman's has them too. And you will catch ALOT of bass on the Senko's, so good luck and welcome
  4. They also have the black lights that just plug into your dash or lighter plug.
  5. I also have used it in the 8,10,12lb. and it was good line. I never had any problems with it. But this year I am going to try some other lines, just to try something new.
  6. you don't need to spend alot for a frog rod. You can buy good rods for alot less than the one you decided on, I am not saying that it is not a good rod, just trying to save you some money. But you want a 7' rod MH or H with a fast tip. And fish a good line like Power Pro. 8-) I use a Fenwick 7' HMG- H action

I am going to fish the FLW this year for the first time. Can anyone give me any tips? I have fished local tournaments in the past and have done ok. But I am new to this FLW ! :-? :-/
  8. I was wondering what the stretch of the two lines would be? Or are the two very close in stretch? And are the two the same for sensitivity? :-/ :-/ :-? :-?
  9. Has anyone picked up this new Falcon jig box and what do you think? I did order one on line. They are hard to find because everyone is out of stock! I want to put all my swiming jigs it the new box and keep my bigger jigs in different box! :-/ :-/ :-/
  10. How many jigs does the falcon box hold? And will it hold the small swiming jigs too or is it better for the bigger jigs?
  11. I had a sponsor for 5 years and they took good care of me and I busted my tail for them. They payed me for seminars and payed for how many miles I had to drive. they closed there doors about two years ago too bad they had a great product. Now i am with another sponsor and they are real hard to work for, it is all about them and what can I do for them and not what can I do for me! They want $2.500 in sales from me, and I have buy there product for me to use at cost. And they want me to buy there product to had out to stores at my cost ( I don't think so ). I did do a one year contract with them. And I will not be back next year!! > They have done nothing for me and I feel it is a two way steet ! :'(
  12. 6 1/2 lb. smallmouth on a Choppers grub and jig brown purple 6 lb 8oz. largemouth on a black Zoom lizard
  13. Tell your partner to take up golf or go night fishing ! > :'(
  14. I have two of them but the ones I have are 85 millions and they are great rods for a great feel. I use mine for t rig worms and craws and the other for jigs. Good rod! :). Both are 7' MH rods.
  15. I was at Gander today and I was walking past all the Zoom baits and my eyes came across the lizard bull frog color. It looks like a real cool color for clear waters. Has anyone fished this bull frog color and how did you do? :-/ : :-?
  16. I picked up some of these crankbaits at Gander for $2.00 a crank. I have never used these, can anyone give me some input on them? I did buy the Spro crank 25 about 6 weeks ago at Sportsman's and payed $ 6+ for them.So $2.00 is a great deal for them as long as they are good baits? :-/ :-?
  17. The Zoom Mag worm is not too thick of a worm.I use the round bend on mine, I use a 5/0 hook. You could use a wide gap, I don't think it would be a big deal on that worm!
  18. Try the Fenwick eagle GT, they sell for $ 44.00 to $ 54.00. I just picked two up last weekend.Sweet rod for the money! :) 8-) :
  19. The Gamma is great line, I love it. i use it on my bait cast real and it comes off real smooth and has little memory if any. I have not tryed it on my sinning reels yet!
  20. Use it for backing on my reels. Junk ! :'( >
  21. Well put Stringjam ! I too have proved it to myself and my fishing partner.
  22. I think braid is fine to use with some faster moving baits like spinners, topwaters, or frogs etc. And I would use braid in darker water with no problem, but for gin clear water I myself would never use it. 8-)
  23. Thanks for yor input. They seem like nice rods, lite rods and I hope the feel is there ! 8-)
  24. I use the braid for slop ( frog ) fishing and Pads or a C- Rig with a flo. leader. just my 2 cents 8-).
  25. Bass Pro's and Martin's Challenge.
