BRAID
Unless you're fishing extremely clear water, I'll second this. Yes, in clear water it does matter! I fish jigs alot and I did use braid without a leader line and my partner out fished me 4 to 1 useing the same jig, weight, color. So I went to a clear line and I did much better. I know what alot of you will say about the leader line, it was just a test that we did, so if I were to fish it in clear water on a slow bait use a leader line! I fish alot at night and I would not use it again without the leader line, they say fish can see just as well at night as they can in daylight and I beleave this to be true.

parasite clips
I too have used the clips and I like them also, they stop the bait from moving down the hook. I have not used the weights but I am sure that they would work too.

Warning Alarms
This could be for over heat or oil alarms. I have a 04 Merc.150 and my motor did the same thing. But I just put my boat in the water and when I started to go on plane the alarm went off but it was the heat alarm ( the oil alarm and the over heat alarms are different sounds) . So I took it to the dealer and he said it was a bad sensor and he put a new one in. It was good for about a month,I was fishing a tournament and it did it again! So now they told me that it was the water pump and they replaceed that and that must of been the problem. In the Merc. book it says to change the water pump every two years. The part was $28.00 and the labor was $ 150.00, hope this did some help!

I will be out to pick up a new baitcaster this spring. Some of the baitcasters have a flippin switch, so what do you guys think about the need for a flippin switch? What are the pro's and con's to having it or not having it? :-? :-? :-?

Baby Paca Craws WOW.
I orderd alot of the Baby Paca craws last year and all I can say is what a great bait. A guy from work had my wife and I over for dinner last April, well he has a pond with bass in it so he told me to bring a few rods. So I hooked up a Baby Paca (T-rig) and when we had dinner we went to the pond and caught bass afer bass up to 4 lbs. I do alot of night fishing and I found out that the Paca Craw caught more, but bigger bass. The action of the claws and how it floats is so cool! I have not seen anyone talking about them so I was thinking everyone was keeping it a secret.
