  1. If you are going to pitch and flip a 7' MH would be better. You want a long rod to pitch and flip!
  2. I too agree, but if you fish cranks I would go 7'M but if you are going to fish of them on one rod I would go 7' MH.
  3. Ditto, all other buzzbaits will take a back seat to the Cavitron!!!!
  4. I too use the black in the big jetterbug, the muskie size. I fish at night alot and that is my number one topwater. But change them hooks, if you fish with the hooks that it come with it, you will loose too many hook ups. I trade mine out with 5/0 VMC hooks, they are like razor sharp.I hook fish that just hit from the side, with the old hooks that would not happen.
  5. If you had to pick only one of these two flouocarbon lines what one would you pick and why? GAMMA or YO-ZURI :-/ :-/ : :-?
  6. Get the Sufix or Power Pro that's your only choice. Just my input :.
  7. I fish 70% at night in the summer and the Jitterbug is my number one top water! I use one color BLACK, and I use the BIG jitterbug that them musski guys use. But one thing change the hooks that come with the jitterbug they are junk!!! :-/ I replace them with VMC hooks. 8-)
  8. Blue Streak, I was a Rep.for Mad Man for 5 years so maybe I can help. The craw tubes are real good as a jig trailer. The tubes work real good for me on a shaky head or as Brad said on a C-rig. I do better with the Mad Man craw worm fished by itself, but don't give up on the tubes. It could be the colors you are using or how you are fishing them.If you don't have fath in the bait you are using, you will not fish it the way it should be fished. It is like that for any bait. If you want you can PM me and I will help you any way I can. Dan
  9. Someone posted on here a while back that the old Wiggle Warts that were glued in half's were worth money. Is this true because I have many of the old Wiggle Warts. :-?
  10. I fish the Wacky worm around docks, rocks, weed lines, deep points. I have a friend that won a tournament fishing a wacky senko, and letting them sink to a a 18 ft.weed line with no weight on them.My best colors are brown with purple flake,brown/orange,geenpumpkin,white.I have used the "O" ring and it doesn't bother you hook up's.
  11. I have kept alot of logs over all of my night trips. And I found the best times for me were Moon up,Moon down or Sunup,Sunset.and from Midnight to sunup.
  12. You have to buy some swimming jigs! Like the Tom Monsures(SP) swimming jig. And some Booya Bed bug jigs. Some 5 in. Grubs to go with the swimming jigs. Chatterrbaits,Jitterbugs, pop'rs, spooks, and some zoom Flukes. Just my input! 8-)
  13. Slop fishing is fishing pads and heavy weeds that lay on the surface. And fishing a frog on top. :-?
  14. I just would like some input. When do you START to slop fish? Pre spawn, post spawn,or summer patterns? 8-)
  15. Check out this web.=USACproshop.net this is a great web site for alot of things. I bought my Solor Bats from them on sale for $75.00.They were over $100.00 glasses on sale for $75.00. You should find a good pair from here. :)
  16. Munkin, Thanks for the pictures they are so cooooooool. 8-) : :-X
  17. Where can I get some other than Dick's? :-/ :-/ :-/
  18. I would like to see your input as to what color are your crawfish are in your lakes. I know they change color during the year but I would like to see your answers. Also what state are you from. The lakes I fish in Wisconsin the crawfish are green with orange or red claws, and I have seen them as just green or a pale brown and a sandy color. 8-)
  19. I like them alot, cool hook. The bait does not roll over with is hook. If I had to rate it from 1=10 I would give it a 10.
  20. I have a fiberglass bass boat. And how do I take my old state permit stickers off to put my new ones on. How can I remove them with out hurting the fiberglass? :-/ :-/
  21. Madhouse, I have been useing the Zoom Meat Head for along time now,it is a great little bait. They have alot of colors to pick from. I use it on a drop shot and as a small jig trailer. And it works great on a split shot after a front. : 8-) ;D :-?
  22. Would you fish a braided line or Mono for swimming a jig? I want to swim smaller jigs up to 1/4 oz. But I am not sure what line to use. I will fish them around pads and over weed beds, weed lines , docks ect. 8-) Thanks :-/
  23. Remember to back off on your drags a bit. Because it is hard on your reel and you may pull the hook ("s ) out of the fish. A lite hook set or a side sweep is all you need to set the hook. Just my input.
  24. I was just wondering if any of you use snaps on spinnerbaits? I have done this in the past. I use a small peace tubing and place it over the U bend and then hook on the snap. This way the snap does not slide down the shaft. I know alot of you tie right to the wire. Because this is more of a reaction bait that I would not think the snap would not matter! Now maybe I would catch alot more bass with out the snap, that I do not know. What is your input on this?
  25. I feel your pain, I live in Wisconsin and our high was 37 on Wed. and it going to be cold untill next Mon. :'( :'( :-/ > > > > >
